Due to an itinerary schedule that required we make some progress most days, we were only able to stay here for one night, and arrived quite late at that. So we weren't able to fully appreciate the public and semi-public areas that make this venue so unique. The entire development is nestled into the adjacent cliffs, so views from both the generous rear deck and the expansive shared front deck (shared with two other units), was breathtaking. Though not a big fan of hard floors in bedroom areas, our adobe-themed units was spacious and comfortable, though an extra chair and luggage surface would have been appreciated. there was plenty of drawer space and expansive counter space, so a more extended stay would have been well accommodated. The shower was terrific, and while some regular table lamps would have made the space far more homey, the wall, niche, and recessed ceiling lighting was more than adequate. there's no elevators (we were forewarned) , so our 3rd floor unit required a lot of stair climbing, but there were no shortage of ground floor units at this resort, albeit with considerably diminished views and private & semi private spaces. There is a decent counter-service food service on the property, serving limited but adequate breakfast, lunch, dinner offerings with a small, basic, screened porch and beautiful adjacent patio seating. Despite the posted hours, when I arrived for breakfast, I was told they were now only serving lunch, but with some very minor cajoling, they relented and served up terrific omelet platter. Our interest in this facility was due to its location between Arches National Park, Monument Valley, Mesa Verde and Durango. But I would have to count this place as an attraction unto itself, rather than just a place to spend the night in between.

Amazing find! So clean, the hostess was fantastic with a credit card issue, it was comfortable, spacious, and had everything you could want/need in an overnight stay. The shower, after a day at Arches with 50mph wind, was possibly the best I've ever had. It's quiet, the sky is endless, and it's just a gem. There's a tiny but interesting area very nearby with petroglyphs, sadly it has been defaced but there are still some clear drawings to see.

This place is AMAZING! What a gem. It's in the middle of a super small town and you are like what?!?! The pool is great, the restaurant if great and the rooms are wonderful. Best bed I've slept in (in a hotel) I would give this place 20 stars if I could. We only stayed one night as we were passing through but if we knew this was this nice we would have spent a couple of days here. At night we heard the coyotes howling. (which was cool for city slickers) We caught the most beautiful sunrise to.
