One of the loveliest lodgings I have experienced. The Orchid Hotel is a short walk from the bustling streets, yet it offers a peaceful retreat that feels like your own private oasis. The breakfast at either of their two restaurants is absolutely amazing! The bakery sells delicious bakes and they are hard to resist. The team running the lodging is a thoughtful bunch too. Knowing that I had to leave for the Great Wall at 6.50am, they made sure they had bakes and freshly brewed coffee for me to bring along for my day trip. The map provided by them is informative, thoughtful and extremely useful. Strongly suggest you take a good read and mark out the places you want to visit. Much appreciated Jihan and her team who have made the stay a very pleasant one.

There is a separate shower room and bathroom. The bathroom has ONE toilet bowl. The cleanliness of the bedding was clean(7/10), but it was a little hot even with the air conditioner on. It’s not bad to sleep for a day or so. It was nice to keep my luggage

hotel staff was friendly and cooperative. we enjoyed a night stay. the owner himself helped us to find locations nearby attractions. they obliged us in all the way keeping our luggage even we checked out. I would highly recommend particulalry foreighners if someone wants to stay in reasonable amount to enjoy friendly and satisfied stay.

When you go to the hotel, you can choose to walk in the alley, which is very interesting. The front desk is very enthusiastic and asked the master to help me get my suitcase. The facilities in the hotel room are very good and careful. There is also a non-slip mat in the bathroom. The design of washing face and bathing is done carefully. The dining breakfast next to it is rich in variety and the service is very attentive. I was in a hurry to go to the scenic spots and forgot to take pictures. I first took a photo of the scenic spots and then stayed in this hotel to make up for it. It is a hotel worth recommending.

We stayed here as a group of 3 for our first time visiting Beijing. The staff are so long and helpful - they really deserve some praise. One of the group members lost something in a shopping centre earlier in the day and they helped us get in contact and arrange for it to be delivered back to us due to the language barrier. Place is very clean and lovely rooms, the staff also re stock your water and toilet paper etc daily. 15 minute walk from Qianmen station. Would definitely recommend!

Walking is a pain. It's very close to the Bell and Drum Tower, Nanluoguxiang, and Houhai. You can eat and eat. Although the room is not big, it has everything, with a separate bathroom, clean and hygienic, warm and comfortable, and good value for money. The child finally experienced the bunk bed and liked having his own ”secret base”. There is plenty of space to hang clothes, which is good.
