Everything was great except for the fact that cars can't pull up directly in front of the hotel. If you don't have a lot of luggage, it's not an issue at all.

GGuest UserLocation is about 40mins walk from the main train station to macau and about an hour walk to the nearby attraction. There's a lot of eateries nearby and even local latenight food market just opposite.
The hotel I would said is pretty rundown. There's a hole in the window so it might attract a lot of insects and mosquitoes. However, they do try to keep the place as clean as possible and provide amenities to address the issue. For example, they do provide insects repellent. They also provide amenities that you cannot think of, such as facemask, detergent, hair elastic, etc...

GGuest UserThe location right next to the main street of the city with a little park for our room was fantastic. We had a family room with a double bed and two large bunk beds. The bunk beds were a bit hard for the west. The room had a nice balcony with view on the backyard, right next to the buddhist temple.
Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis famous hotel is the best inn I have ever stayed in. Because the traffic jam came late, I didn’t expect the boss to wait for us at the front desk. I also upgraded our room for free. The most surprising thing is that there are moon cakes and sugar water for us. The lobby manager and the boss are very friendly. I gave my baby a lot of food and balloons, the whole feeling is very good, really worth recommending! (Thank you the innkeeper and staff for waiting for us so late ～)

YYuen K HA great place to stay right in Dapeng Fortress if you want to experience staying in an actual historical house. We really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay at Buyan Inn.
The host, Tony was very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. We managed to contact him through Wechat about our arrival and he walked out to meet us to show us the way to the inn when we arrived by DiDi. The inn is in the old Town but just a 1 minute walk out so it was very convenient for foreign travellers who don't have their own transportation.
Buyan Inn also has a restaurant. We tried the barbecue and it was delicious.
There are many snack shops in the old Town. We also wanted to try some traditional food and found a traditional restaurant where the locals go to for meals just outside the old Town, a few minutes' walk from Buyan inn.
All in all, we had a very memorable stay in Buyan Inn.

MM424479****The location is pretty good, just a short walk to Paifang Street. However, cleaning took a while; we didn't get to check in until 1 PM, even though we arrived at 11 AM. The room didn't have disposable slippers, which is a bit inconvenient; I'd suggest they add that service. The room itself is quite spacious; a 20-square-meter standard room was plenty for two people. The only real issue was the poor signal – whether it was Wi-Fi or mobile data, I often only had one bar. I'm not sure if it's because the room was too far inside. Overall, the value for money is decent, especially considering how inexpensive it was.
