Very well located hostel (10/15 mins walk to/from Powell station, that is good if you're traveling to/from SFO airport). The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 4-beds room and they allowed us to check-in a little bit earlier than normal since the room was available. The hostel has a shared kitchen (unfortunately the 2 large refrigerators that they have were full of stuff of another guests so there was no space for our few things that needed refrigeration)
I recommend this place, specially if you are being careful with your budget for accomodations.
A perfect location right on the coast with cozy fireplaces to take in the view of the beautiful west coast sunset. Check in was easy, The hot tub and pool were perfect for a late afternoon dip and relax. The gift upon arrival for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration was also a nice surprise. Also surprised by the local Space X launch which was pretty cool to see
The hotel is right on the beach, the environment is good, but the room is very general, not worth the price, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, breakfast can only be eaten, the water is not smooth, it feels disgusting, but the hotel's large terrace is very comfortable with fire The equipment, other facilities besides the beach, because it is not so much to pay for a night, and the city center has not gone.
Cute hotel. Scuzzy area. Lots of police in area pulling over cars right in front of hotel. Hotel is nice, you can tell it’s old but small renovations have been made to improve its appearance . City view rooms are a no lol
Every Thursday, there is FAMER MARKET, but unfortunately we bought and bought and did not catch up. Seeing the mess on the road, it must be very lively, so sorry. The location is very good, you can go to FM. But what do you say about the facilities of this hotel, in fact, it is to open a room for young Californian workers, haha! The standard room is our five-foot bed. The family is a little small and the photos look slightly larger. Family trips, recommended twin beds, don't blindly believe in the old KING SIZE, not all hotels.
Title: Perfect Weekend Getaway at Spyglass Inn, Pismo Beach
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, and it was a great experience. Nestled in a prime location, this inn offers easy access to the best of the area's natural beauty and recreational activities.
Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Waking up to the serene views of the ocean and the calming sound of the waves was a daily highlight. The beach itself is clean and inviting, perfect for both sunbathing and very peaceful at dawn and sunset. The area boasts several scenic hiking trails. We took advantage of these and were rewarded with breathtaking views and the chance to reconnect with nature.
Food options around Spyglass Inn also added to the charm of our stay. We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive.
The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice.
Cute place to stay, close to friends and family whom I was visiting. The gentleman who checked me into the hotel was very nice and knew a lot about the area. The room was cute, functional, and clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again if I'm back in the area.
A little difficult to find but pleasant welcome with a small buffet available with refreshments, initially they allocated us to room 104 on the ground floor, noisy at night we can hear people passing by shouting and especially helping themselves to the ice dispenser next door in addition to the noise of the engines of this device and drink dispensers. In short, in the morning, all I had to do was talk about it, they changed my room quickly. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are sunny and pleasant. Smiling and available staff.

The inn is in a safe and quiet part of town near the marina, with several major landmarks within walking distance. Reception was always friendly & helpful, even late at night. They were around to assist with finding parking lots when it got crowded. They also handled package deliveries in an organized and efficient manner. Our only complaint was the carpet in the room was perpetually cold and wet throughout our stay due to the air con leaking, and the wetness extended over half the room. We called about this but was told it's normal. However we were able to overlook this by wearing shoes in the room. Otherwise, we had a great stay here!
It feels like a family hotel. On the side of the main road, sound insulation is okay, and the sound of wooden floor sounds. The hotel is not large, there are two places for parking, and there are many locations.
The hotel is supplied by homemade biscuits from 6 to 7:00 every night, and outdoor hot ponds in the back garden from 8 to 9:00 in the evening can soak hot springs. After 8:00, there is no one at the front desk. Overall is relatively satisfied.
Breakfast is rich, there are various Greek yogurts, the grilled baked Walf cheese cheese pancakes, milk oatmeal juice, fresh fruits are all available.

Very Good
GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.

GGuest UserGo read about the history of the famous Utah Saloon build more than 100 years ago. This facility is operated by an Indian immigrant family and the hallways have a pleasant smell of incense. Pay attention to the shared washroom detail — each floor has one shower and washroom to share. This wasn’t an issue during my stay. The music bar and restaurant on first floor are great with some local performers. Red line train to Chinatown is right across the stress very convenient. Whole foods market also just a block away. As with a lot of SF — there are street people in tents in the neighborhood which can make some travelers anxious — but remember they are not hostile and are a problem all over the city. Overall I had a great experience in this historical hotel. it’s also useful to note they accept a variety of cards visa, MS, china Unionpay, etc.
DDarwin927A very stylish Danish hotel. We arrived late at night and it looked quite nice with the lights on. There will be mist in the early morning of winter, which makes it difficult to take pictures. The room we booked has a very high ceiling and is quite comfortable. But the indoor stove didn’t work, and it wasn’t very good because I didn’t know how to use it. The bread for breakfast was from Olsen and it was pretty good.
GGuest UserWaiting in line for coffee was an annoyance but still didn’t diminish the luxury feel of my stay. The largest inconvenience was the gates after 10. My first time someone was waiting there right away, but the second time I had to exit my vehicle and call from the buzzer to no answer. I only got voicemail. Eventually got in, but I was very uncomfortable in that dark area by myself, and it took long enough for someone else to pull in behind me. I appreciated the super convenient filtered water and laundry amenities that I wish were standard everywhere. I asked for a printed receipt, but their printer was down and they assured me I’d get an email, which I haven’t. Trip.com does not seem to have registered that I completed my stay, so there is something iffy among their booking and trip.com’s ledger.

YYANOn the 1st road, I stayed in Cumbria for one night. It is a street of various hotels. This is a warm, two-row, face-to-face room with only one floor. There are two small rest pavilions in the middle of the yard, and there are open air in the middle. The fireplace was cold at the end of May, and there was a fireplace in the room, which was comfortable to open at night. Breakfast was chosen at check-in. The next morning, I used the basket to hang at the door. There were not many things but enough to eat. The big bed in the room is also very big, and the car is parked in the yard for free. There is a walking boardwalk opposite the hotel that is very close to the beach. The nearby restaurant has had dinner and come back to see the sunset at the beach. The nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel is very good, but if you feel a bit cold, don't be afraid to wait for it. Don't sit in the open air. Let's feel the temperature of the trembling. The old beauty wears shorts and short sleeves.
