"The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean.
It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day.
Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but...
And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served."

Enjoy on-site dining and our heated indoor pool.
"The room wasn't very big, and since I booked only a week in advance, the price was a bit higher than expected. Overall, the hygiene was acceptable, although there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom when I checked in. The hotel staff helped us resolve that. I forgot to take photos of the room, but you can refer to the hotel's pictures and other reviews; they're all pretty similar. It's worth noting that international hotels aren't as accommodating as domestic ones when it comes to upgrades. Here, you'd either need to be a high-tier member or pay for a higher room category to get an upgrade.
Each day, the room is stocked with two bottles of drinking water, a carton of milk, and the usual capsule coffee and tea bags – pretty standard. However, I don't understand why housekeeping moved my belongings. Several times, I returned to find my neck pillow on the floor, clothes I'd hung on the hanger had been moved, and my slippers were in a different spot. While it's not a major issue, it was a bit annoying for someone with OCD. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this aspect.
I've included a few breakfast photos. On a side note, the fillet steak at the downstairs restaurant was very tender and worth trying."

"This hotel is the closest one to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, so it's always busy. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; it gets very noisy when people walk by.
The female receptionist at the front desk reminded me of the mother searching for her missing son in Jurassic Park 2. She clearly treated white guests differently from Asian guests. She was all smiles and patiently answered questions for the previous guest, even meticulously explaining hiking routes. But when it came to us, she barely smiled, was dismissive, and gave us the noisiest room.
The breakfast quantity was decent, but the quality was bad. I even found a foreign object in my food."

"The room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable.
Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub.
Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed.
Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked.

"This hotel is simply a vacation paradise! The most delightful surprise was the hotel's own vibrant farm. Waking up to the crisp sound of roosters crowing in the morning, surrounded by nature, and getting to feed adorable, therapeutic small animals up close – it was truly a charming and rustic experience.

"Receptionist is very helpful and friendly, making check in a breeze. The facilities are not too bad, however, unfortunately, I was placed above an inconsiderate, loud and messy individual which marred the experience even though I requested for a bottom bunk. Location is amazing, a very walkable city. Downside is there is no public transportation to the airport."

The SinclairsGot there after receptipn closed due to flight delays and was easy to get access to the room. Bed was huge and very comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was a good price and the kids meal was great. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

The room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!

**Cleanliness:** Very clean, and housekeeping cleans daily. If you're staying multiple nights and don't need cleaning the next day, you can hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your doorknob, and they'll give you an 8 AUD meal voucher for breakfast at the restaurant.
**Facilities:** Standardized beds and a bathroom. The room was spacious, very comfortable for one person. The bathroom had bath towels, regular towels, and hand towels. Natty TengWe had a fantastic stay at Freycinet Lodge. The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the breakfast was excellent. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast with the stunning view of the bay, which made our mornings very special.
One tip for future guests: the road leading to the hotel can be quite dark at night, so it's best to arrive before sunset if possible.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Tasmania!

Very clean and closer to the shops and parking places. But Very noisy surroundings. Requested for quite room but the room was next to one of the main traffic area. We can hear people talking on the street. When motor bikes passing the room it was very loud. Couldn't sleep well whole night.

The location is good; although not in the city center, there are plenty of restaurants and a Woolworths nearby.
When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, but the signs for parking and check-in were very clear, so check-in was smooth.
The room was quite large and relatively clean, and the price was reasonable. I recommend staying here!
