"Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (ages 5, 7 and 9) were seeking a 1 night stay in the area during our roadtrip and the one request was a waterslide! Seemed like this hotel was one of the only in the area to offer this at an indoor pool. This is one of the good waterslides too! Not the kind that doesn't have enough water to push you down. These kids like to go fast and the landing ends in a long flat part of the slide and not directly into a pool. Lots of tables and chairs around where I can work off my laptop and watch them scream for hours. Toilet and water fountains ensure the fun continues without a beat. Towels also provided just for the pool goers. The entire hotel team shall be commended. All friendly, helpful and happy! Every aspect is spotlessly clean in all areas. Breakfast items were half served by staff and half self serve. Laundry room on the 2nd floor at the end of the longest hallway was affordable ($1.50 for washer, $1 for dryer) and very much needed by us. Our room with 2 Queen beds were so very comfortable. There was a desk with good chair excellent for either my husband or I to work on our laptops and another side desk with 2 square pullout blocks for the kids to do their daily homework assignments. Lots of well places power outlets for all devices. Truly fit our needs so well while visiting family in the area. I have already extended our stay from 1 night to another 3 nights and looking to extend again tomorrow for 1 more night. Think we may even stay again our our way back to Freddy next week!"

"The window view should be considered very good in this small town. If the weather is good in the morning, you should still see the sunrise. The room is the normal Samsung standard, but the curtain leaks very seriously, and the light from outside at night causes the room to be very bright. Breakfast is a buffet and cannot be taken out of the restaurant. Considering the new crown, I did not eat breakfast. The hotel is holding a wedding, except for the front desk, no masks are seen, but the whole city seems to pay little attention to epidemic prevention. In short, the room itself is very good at this price and it is worth staying in."

For over a century, The Algonquin Resort St. Andrews‑by‑the‑Sea, Autograph Collection has welcomed travellers to one of the most iconic resorts in St. Andrews‑by‑the‑Sea, New Brunswick, on Canada’s East Coast. Set in a historic seaside town, this grand coastal resort blends timeless charm with modern comfort. Guests can play an award‑winning golf course overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, relax in an indoor heated pool with a three‑storey waterslide, or unwind at the full‑service spa. Ideal for couples and families, the resort is recognized among top family resorts in New Brunswick, Canada. Dining options include breakfast, signature afternoon tea, and refined table d’hôte dining at the Passamaquoddy Veranda, an elegant steakhouse experience at Braxton’s, and relaxed evenings at the Right Whale Pub. With elegant event spaces and thoughtfully designed accommodations, the resort offers a stay defined by heritage, hospitality, and coastal beauty.

"This is without a doubt the most posh hotel in NB. It's very elegant and provides the service of a 5* hotel and has the activities of a resort. However, our room was not well maintained. Many electric outlets were impossible to use, they were wonky and loose. One if the pillowcases hadn't been changed. In a hotel where the ambition is so high, even the broom closets should be impeccable. It advertised as dog friendly but a 50$ charge is added for the dog. Might I suggest providing at least a few dog enabled rooms for that price? They could have dog beds/treats or at least a bowl for water at that price. The other unpleasant surprise was a resort fee that remained hidden until check out. The price of the room was already well above all other hotels in NB, and making that fee a hidden charge is unacceptable. If you need to charge more, show it in the booking price."

"Hotel hardware facilities and software facilities are very good, but go out to eat and drive, the map looks very close to the oldest market in North America but walks for at least 20 minutes. We went to St. John to see the counter current waterfall, so the early rising tide and the afternoon low tide drove out to see this spectacle, quite magical and shocking. It is very convenient to drive to this hotel, the parking lot is large enough and free."

DDangdixiangdaosumetzhaoxmThis hotel is located at the intersection of the highway, so it is estimated that there is no shortage of customers. As a result, the parking spaces are full and you can only park your car in their large car area. The guest rooms are a bit old, but I am satisfied.

GGuest UserThe Comfort Inn Magnetic Hill exceeded my expectations. I was thinking it was going to be an older place and wasn’t sure what to expect because the price was so good. Much much lower than other newer hotels. However, I was delighted to see that It has been fully renovated. The place smells fresh and is bright. Halls well lit and rooms  have all you need. Our room looked  new and fresh, and seriously just the same as other more recently built newer hotel and suites that we had stayed at on previous weekends. The bathroom was clean and fresh and new. Lovely shower! The beds were comfortable, clean, and the decor was exactly as you would expect in a brand new hotel. If you do not require a lot of amenities, such as pool and gym., this is an excellent place to stay. The staff were so friendly  and efficient at check-in and check out. The breakfast we hot and delicious with all of the usual options. Staff cleaned and refilled the space and kept up with the flow of visitors. I even felt so relaxed, my husband and I got lost in conversation and felt like we were having coffee at a cafe!   It was so relaxing to stay in a place that does not have many rooms as a huge hotel. It feels more secure and truly comfortable. It was nice that we could park pur car so close to the side exit near our room. Super convenient! The location is central and we even found some really good Thai food at a restaurant down the street!  Awesome experience- glad to be able to share this review of a great spot. Why pay more, when you just want a nice , fresh, comfortable room and a good breakfast in a convenient location?  We travel a lot for our kids sports and our budget gets stretched every winter because the cost of a room at other hotels is $200 + , too high for just one night!  I am truly impressed with the Comfort Inn, Magnetic Hill. I even made sure to tell the staff how much we loved it when we checked out. We will be back for sure!

GGuest UserHotel was ok. Best part was restaurant in lobby dinner was excellent . Room itself was in a way modern but smelled very stuffy . Air conditioning in room was sounding like a jet engine and beds were only double size. Pool was small and and very shallow not for adults. GGuest UserWe stayed at the Quality Inn for two days, on our trip to visit family. The Inn was very clean, and the staff very nice. When we arrived we were greeted at the front door by the clerk behind the reception desk. He looked up our file with our last name, check us in, 5 minute, and we were good to go. The room we stayed in was very small, but clean and nice. Beds had fresh linens, and were clean. Breakfast was included (buffet style) and was very good. Had all the regular items, eggs, sausages, potates. You can make your own waffles, toasts. You also have coffee, muffins, cerel, and yoguert. Overall very nice stay. We did not use the pool.

GGuest UserThe location and hotel were great. What was very disappointing was I booked a room with 2 Queen beds. When we checked in yesterday afternoon they said they upgraded my room to king size bed because of how busy they were. I said that was nice, but I was with my 81 year old father and needed 2 beds like I booked. They said oh sorry, but there's a couch in your room. I had 30 minutes to get ready for a family funeral, so I didn't have time to insist something be done. Needless to say I wasn't going to make my father sleep on the couch, so I did. Advised the front desk about this this morning and they said oh sorry.
