The hotel is in a good location near the centre with good transpprt links to Piccadilly, the reception and breakfast areas are nice and spacious and therr's room to chill as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and clean, the shower is spacious and the bed is soft and there's a nice tv as well. Internet is very fast. The breakfsst is also tasty and plentiful and it's only £ 8. It was a pleasant stay for a budget hotel, I would recommend it.
Tribe hotel is 2 minutes walk to the airport. Lovely modern rooms. Bar and restaurant staff extremely friendly. We were a party of 14 and they accommodated us in a private area and Lewis the waiter looked after us efficiently while being friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.

I was a bit hesitant on the first night because the hotel was so incredibly cheap, which is great. But after staying for a night, the experience was fantastic. I have a small suggestion: you can ask the front desk to be placed near the elevator, as many rooms are quite far back and a long walk, making it easy to get lost.
The location of this hotel isnt bad as there are good transport links a few minutes walk down the road. The man who checked us in seemed in a mood and was mumbling the whole time we spoke so we had to spend 10 minutes trying to locate our room as we couldn't understand his directions. The windowsill was CAKED in dust looks like it has never been cleaned, as well as the bathroom floor which was also covered in dust build up. There was a large peeling brown patch in part of the wallpaper seam. I don't know what the duvet covers are made of but before we had even gotten in the bed the material was falling apart and leaving small white particles all over us, our clothes and the entire room. It was alright for a crash pad for the night after a gig but I would never want to stay here again especially not for more than one night. On a good note, the lady who checked us out was very friendly and well spoken.

Located opposite Manchester's Chinatown, it's very convenient for those who fancy Chinese food. Other attractions like the long-distance bus station and the main train station are about a 20-minute walk away. The room is well-equipped and offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
• The hotel staff were extremely polite, kind, and very helpful. This meant a lot to me.
• The overall atmosphere and location of the hotel are good. The room was generally clean, the bed was clean, and the room was spacious.
• However, there were several issues that would make me reconsider staying here again for a longer visit:
- The electric kettle had visible dust and did not seem properly cleaned, so I didn’t use it.
- The hairdryer was not clean.
- The white accessibility support rail in the bathroom had rust and buildup, which made the bathroom feel uncomfortable to use.
- The shower head had a lot of limescale, and some other areas also looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly.
• Breakfast was unfortunately very poor. Most items were already finished when I arrived. The scrambled eggs and hash browns were badly cooked and very low quality. I couldn’t eat anything and only had a cup of tea before returning to my room.
Because of these cleanliness issue, I might choose another hotel next time.

I booked two rooms and specifically requested high-floor rooms beforehand. During check-in, the first front desk agent had a noticeably lukewarm attitude. It took a long time for them to find my reservation, and it was quite a hassle to get one room sorted, and it was on a low floor. Then, the second front desk agent helped us check into the other room; their attitude was much better, and they gave us a high-floor room. We paid a £10 deposit upon check-in.
The hotel's location and environment are good. There's a small river behind it, and it's a very short walk from Piccadilly Station, just around one corner. It's also within walking distance of the main attractions and shopping areas in the city center. We booked a suite, which was quite spacious. It came with toiletries, slippers, and a small balcony. Breakfast was semi-buffet style; you could order one hot dish, and then help yourself to bread, cereal, fruit, etc. Everything was fine, except for the first front desk agent.
The location is strategic as it is closer to Media City and Old Trafford stadium. It is also accessible by tram. The reception staff was great. Fast check in by the beautiful eyed lady and was greet with the most lovely smile upon check out. The room was comfortable with different type lighting. Toilet and shower room was clean, kudos to housekeeping staff. During my stay it was a windy day, thus the sound of the wind come from the window at the corridor and it was a bit scary but not really disturbing. Overall I did enjoyed my stay and surely will coming here again whenever I want to visit Old Trafford.

The location is convenient, within walking distance to the city center and Manchester University. Although the room is small, it's fully equipped with a hairdryer and kettle, and there's complimentary coffee and tea. The hotel doesn't have a car park, but the staff were very friendly and explained that there's paid parking next to the hotel. You only need to pay until 8 PM, and then it's free until 8 AM the next morning. Thanks to the hotel staff for their help.
We had a 4 night stay 29 April to 3 May 2026.
The room was reasonably clean and tidy but small, and the bed was comfortable.
The room had no windows, which was as described in the booking but was extremely hot.
We were given 2 fans but that didn't do very much. It was extremely hard to sleep in the heat of the room. There were no radiators in the room, so we don't know where the heat was coming from.
The TV didn't work. We reported it and was told someone would come and deal with it, but they never did
.
Overall the stay was ok.
If the TV had worked and the temperature was right,it would have been a good stay.
The location is great for the city centre.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We were a little disappointed, however, that we were unable to have a drink at the bar (even though there were lots of seats available) without pre-booking. Maybe guests should be informed of this when booking. Otherwise, we had a good time.
GGuest UserNothing fancy but everything I needed. The people really wanted to help with every quiz that I had. I am actually going back to Manchester today and I am actually going to look at the prices for the 2 nights I'm staying up there.
HhakunaVery close to the train station, and we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook your own meals. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserGreat hotel for couples! The location is very convenient, and the breakfast food was really good and fresh. Everything met our expectations, and we enjoyed our stay.
PPhoenix969The place is close to terminal 2. Very clean rooms, checkin was smooth took only a min. Room had all amenities. It’s a bit small but it’s ibis budget. Highly recommend this. I stayed all day in lobby as I was working they had no issues. Breakfast was basic but fine.

GGuest UserThis hotel was a positive surprise to me. I did not expect more than a bed to sleep close to the center of Manchester for the price I paid for the stay and they offered so much more with the friendliness and professionalism of the frontdesk service staff, the varied breakfast and comfortable bed. The hotel is however a bit outdated and I missed a usb plug in the room for charging mobile as I am a European traveller and the plug is different. Luckily front desk helped me with an adapter for the night. I also had a small lunch at the Garden restaurant and whether you go there for a drink or food you will find nice staff and you can taste the freshness of the products used.
All in all, great value for money.
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
