I left some clothes in the room, and the staff promptly emailed me, offering to return them to me at my convenience. There's also a hotel deposit of around £100, which takes a bit longer to be refunded, probably due to international processing times. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is very close to the University of Manchester, with a supermarket nearby. It's very convenient, and there's a 250 bus that goes directly to the biggest shopping center. The bathroom design was a bit odd; the water switch for the shower was opposite the showerhead, and the shower stall itself was about 10 cm higher than the rest of the bathroom, which felt a bit strange.
The hotel is in a good location near the centre with good transpprt links to Piccadilly, the reception and breakfast areas are nice and spacious and therr's room to chill as well, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and clean, the shower is spacious and the bed is soft and there's a nice tv as well. Internet is very fast. The breakfsst is also tasty and plentiful and it's only £ 8. It was a pleasant stay for a budget hotel, I would recommend it.
The room is clean generally. Also there are some flaw on the floor, but it wasn’t dirty. Location is nice. Transport, restaurant and supermarket are closed. The vibe of the neighbourhood is quiet and nice. It make the most of the price. Highly recommend it when travelling to Manchester.

no parking at this establishment and no dropping off available at times as their maintenance and delivery vans might take up the small space cut into the front pavement. They do provide you with a discount voucher at nearby public carparks. Rooms are clean but the decorating is a patch up job throughout. The noise from the tram it is horrible and through the night as windows are not soundproof. In our room the heating was out of order and oil filled radiators were put up instead. Television sets have either the option for TV channels or to connect to your phone: bad aerial prevented viewing most channels and TV only connected to the staff's androids and not to our iphones. There was no options for apps such as youtube or netflix and kids have to entertain themselves on their tablet. Swimming pool is the size of a private one in a residential home. Staff is courteous and the breakfast is way and beyond satisfactory. The majestic hall from their photos was nowhere to be seen. Would go again if no other options shall be available at the time.

This hotel is marketed in a way which portrays it be very clean on the website and photos online. But the first night we got there, it was full of drinks splatter stains on the head board which hadn’t been cleaned properly. Pipes running over our heads and making a lot of water noises whilst we were sleeping, and I honestly couldn’t sleep at all. The room was classified as a superior double bed, but crammed into a small room which was horrible. Had to ask receptionist to transfer me out to a different room and they did. The rooms could be better here

Service - nice, the staff members are very friendly and kind. I will give 4 of 5.
Breakfast - they don’t have lot of variety of breakfast. But what they have is alright and taste okay. I will give 4 of 5.
Location - good and bad. The good part is it is close to a lot of places. For example, art gallery, the library. So it is really good for people want a convenient travel. However, the location is very very noisy at night, and some how, our room is not sound proof enough, at Friday night, a bunch of people singing on the street with microphones at 11:30pm, and we can hear all of them (we are in fifth floor, don’t know how people in the first floor would feel about it..).
Room facility - bad. It is not a 4 star hotel level. They do not provide fridge or room bar. The Tv is very old and the carpet of the hotel is very old and a bit dirty. The table and chair on the room is squeeze, and not stable. The whole room is just very old.
Room clean service - good, they do the service good and in time.
In general, I don’t think this should be a four star hotel - at least based on our experience. It could be a alright three star hotel and a normal two star hotel.
(The picture is irrelevant - just a place in Manchester)

I first stayed here 19 years ago when it was around 500 RMB. Now, due to a game day and exchange rates, it's about 1000 RMB a night, so the value for money is a bit worse. The lobby and staircase have been renovated, losing some of their old-world charm. Pros: 1. Excellent security – they check everyone entering after 10 PM. 2. Great service – they took very good care of my luggage. 3. Good location.
Close to the Arndale and Print works. Room was ok, View wasnt great , overlooking the abandoned church carpark filled with rubbish, but it was quiet. Stains on carpet and walls, which i would not expect from a 4star hotel. Bathroom was nice, bit of mould on bottom of shower screen. Breakfast was good with a good selection of GF for my husband. I would definitely stay again for the right price.

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was fine, aside from the lack of bottled water, luggage racks, and absolutely no toiletries – everything else was normal. However, their parking lot is a huge problem. Firstly, guests aren't told in advance that parking requires a reservation. Secondly, I'm not sure if their drop-off point is only for disabled people or what, but there's a 'no entry' sign at what looks like a drop-off entrance. Thirdly, even if you don't have a reservation and the car park is fully booked, the gate will still open. But if you don't pay 60 pounds, the car park attendant will make it difficult for you to leave, even if the hotel reception has already entered your license plate to give you 1 or 4 hours free and told you to move your car to an open-air car park about a 15-minute walk away. In the end, several guests were in the same situation, blocking the car park exit. The first guest had to go back to the hotel to grab a receptionist and bring them to the car park entrance to negotiate with the car park staff for half an hour before they finally opened the gate and let people leave.
GGuest UserAlthough there was a small problem with the system when checking in, the receptionist handled it extremely professionally, which made me appreciate it very much. The room is extremely clean, comfortable and has an extremely impressive view. The gym, swimming pool, food...all make everything more perfect. I will definitely introduce more friends and come back next time.
GGuest UserThere is a direct bus to hotel from airport and a bus stop at 10 mins away from hotel back to airport.
The walls have no stains which is nice and the bathroom is clean and tidy but the bed linen has quite a lot of stains. Some dust also appeared on the pillow and it is actually hard to spot them because of the dim lighting. The water pump is also working fine. The staff are super friendly when I forgot to bring a plug and realised that there is no USB charge spot.
GGuest UserGreat location and clean. The room size was decent, with a clear separation between the living area and bedroom. Facilities were sufficient, though some improvements could be made, such as providing laundry detergent or parking discounts. Overall, I'm satisfied and would return.
Ccharleston1The hotel was amazing! The service was fab, all the staff were so lovely and really helpful. The room was great and had everything you could need, and I loved the fact that all the toiletries are plant based! The location was also amazing, just round the corner from the nightlife if you wanted it (but completely silent from inside your room). It's very central so really easy access to anything you could want really.
Would definitely stay there again and already recommended it to some friends.
HHenyoushanyoutaoI booked a single room for my family for one night before their flight back home the next day. They gave really good feedback, saying it was clean and hygienic. It's also very close to the train station, as well as T2 and T3 terminals. A simple breakfast was included.
NNora.mjI booked the windowless room because it was the cheapest option. This hotel truly has no views, so I figured a windowless room was actually better. However, if you're sensitive to ventilation issues, I recommend booking a room with a window.
There's no air conditioning or refrigerator (which seems to be standard for mid-range hotels in the UK). No breakfast either. I noticed the name was similar to the Britannia Manchester Hotel nearby and wondered if they were the same company; it seems they are, as the amenities are identical and the furniture and lighting are similar. However, the bathroom here is a bit more modern, and it has a shower hose.
Wi-Fi is free, I'm not sure why Trip.com states it's paid. You just need to log in with your email. I came to drop off my luggage before check-in, and since it was a weekday morning, they kindly gave me an early check-in for free, which I really appreciated.
If you don't need air conditioning, this is the most recommended budget-friendly hotel in Manchester near Piccadilly Gardens.

GGuest UserI had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Pendulum Hotel. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and my room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is excellent for getting around Manchester, and the neighbourhood where the hotel is has a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily stay again and would certainly recommend it to others.
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
