I really like my room, I got a room in 8th floor with mountains scenery. I was able to see a beautiful sunrise. Location is good actually because nearby bus stop, but need to walk to get to tourist attractions nearby.

Pros: Front desk staff were helpful and spoke good English. The hotel room was spacious enough for opening suitcases. Bathroom was nice, had countertop space. Lots of countertop space in the room as well. Fridge. Hangers and wardrobe space for coats. Ocean view was worth it, especially watching the sunrise on our balcony. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was especially impressive and worth it - they even had a bibimbap station and jeju orange juice. Wish they had clearer labeling on what is vegetarian and vegan - but it is Korea. Quick taxi drive from the airport. Location was good for anyone looking to do bus tours in Jeju, as most of the pickup locations were nearby.
Cons: Pillow was a bit flat. You can kinda see the person showering even if the blinds are drawn but you really have to be looking - just something to be mindful of.

The room smelled lovely! The staff, both the guys and girls, were really nice. If I couldn't speak Korean, they'd try their best with English, and if that didn't work, they'd use a translator. Also, when I went hiking on Hallasan on the 26th, I borrowed crampons and trekking poles from the guesthouse. As long as you don't damage them, they're free to use! It's genuinely excellent. If you're out and about all day and just need a place to sleep, this spot is perfect. Plus, it's right next to the Jeju Bus Terminal, which is super convenient.

The hotel itself was decent, and the location was good – the largest local market in Seogwipo was just a short walk away! However, first and foremost, the lack of a front desk upon check-in was incredibly inconvenient. It's a hotel, not a guesthouse! Secondly, while I can overlook the small room size, what I absolutely couldn't stand was that all the lights were touch-activated and would automatically turn off in less than ten minutes! I tend to shower slowly, and this became really awkward; halfway through my shower, the lights went out, and the touch panel wasn't even in the bathroom, but outside! It was also inconvenient when using the toilet. Honestly, I just don't understand this design! You can strive for energy efficiency, but not at the expense of guest experience and convenience, right?! The hotel staff seemed unaware of this design flaw, and perhaps Koreans aren't as vocal about feedback (unlike the Japanese, haha). In the morning, the hotel seemingly responsibly sent someone to inspect it, but after all that, they told me they found no problems! Yet, I felt like they didn't even understand the issues I was reporting, which sounds a bit ridiculous! The dining area was right there in front of me, but then I was told they weren't serving breakfast. I found that quite incomprehensible as well!

This is my second time staying at Shin Shin Hotel Seogwipo. It's very well-located, near the bus stop, has many convenience stores within a 150m distance, close to cafes, restaurants, and Seogwipo Olle Market. I also love that there is a washing machine in every room. 🙌🏼 Moreover, they let me checkin a day late since I was stranded in Udo as ferry services between Udon and Jeju were suspended due to strong winds. I'd stay here again and again. 😃

The room was quite spacious, with enough room to open up our suitcases. The mirror was also very large. The hotel is only a ten-minute taxi ride from the airport, making it super convenient for flights. There are also plenty of restaurants around the hotel, and a convenience store right across the street.

We stayed in a double plus single bed room facing the airport/ocean. It was a lovely view. Check in and check were both pretty smooth. Room size is okay for small family. Bathroom comes air heated bidet which is appreciative during cold months. The bed were very comfortable and we have a very restful night.
Location is seems to be surrounded by lots of restaurants catered to PRC tourists. Even walking on the street feels like we are in China.
Shops like Innisfree and Olive Young are just steps away from the entrance. It makes a good airport hotel as the drive is only 15mins. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle stating from 7am.

This place offers excellent value for money. As a solo traveler, I paid around 160 per night during the off-peak season. The room was very quiet and spacious, featuring a small entrance hall in addition to the bathroom. Check-in was self-service: I simply picked up my room keycard, which had my name on it, from the front desk, and returned it upon check-out. If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk, which is under surveillance. While I'd read some reviews complaining about the inconvenience of not being able to find the owner, I personally didn't encounter any problems. There's a convenience store right opposite, and the elderly gentleman who works there was very kind. Dongmun Market and Mokgwan-a are also close by. However, if transportation convenience is your main priority, an area like Baojian Road would be a better choice. The primary appeal of staying here is its affordability.

The stay was comfortable, but the bed was a little small for a single person, and the queen-size bed was also a bit small. It's near a shopping street with lots of food options. There are also shops around that area. Beside the hotel is a convenience store. Something interesting about the hotel's car park is that it's usually full at night. There will be a car park attendant there to direct your parking to different spots, which are not part of the designated lots. At least we had a space to park, I guess.

This hotel cost me NT$615 for one night in Jeju, which is pretty average. The facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is decent enough. For just sleeping, I think it's acceptable. It's super convenient geographically: Dongmun Market, Jungang Underground Shopping Center, Chilseong-ro Shopping Street, and Black Pork Street are all within a 10-minute walk. Getting to the airport also only takes about ten minutes by car. If you're coming to Jeju, you might want to consider this place.

GGuest UserI arrived quite late for check-in and was a bit disappointed at first because there was no one at the front desk and I had to self-check-in. However, after coming back from dinner, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the room had a balcony, which was perfect for smokers and very convenient. Plus, a bathtub in the room at this price point is incredibly rare! At just over 200, the overall amenities and comfort far exceeded my expectations. The charging outlets are super thoughtful for domestic travelers – no need to rent adapters like at other expensive hotels nearby, which is a huge bonus. The room was clean, tidy, practical in layout, and had thoughtful details. The value for money is off the charts, far surpassing more expensive hotels in the same area. The stay experience was excellent, highly recommend!

GGuest UserAbout 15 minutes by car from airport. A quieter part of Jeju city but enough restaurants within walking distance plus on-site convenience shop. Clean and well-maintained with superb housekeeping crew. Breakfast buffet was average. On-site cafe has reasonably priced food and dribks. No dental kit or shaving kit in room and so bring your own!

EExpatI really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax.
There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast. The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.
I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.
Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise..
It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.
What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room.
The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.
I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel. I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore.

DDayuangeFive-star review all around! The hotel's facilities are perfect. Even though the standard rooms aren't huge, they are clean and well-maintained. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and the outdoor one is heated, so you can swim even in winter. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but it's really good.
GGuest UserBooked a family suite with two bathrooms. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff spoke a little Chinese, which made check-in very smooth. They don't provide disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste, but there are disposable slippers, though they're quite thin, so you might want to bring your own. During our stay, we saw many Korean locals staying here. It's in the city center with lots of food options nearby, and getting a taxi is very convenient.

GGuest UserOverall, it was a good room, although the bathroom door was difficult to open and close. The room was spacious and clean, and surprisingly quiet at night despite being close to busy streets. The hotel has parking, but it was full a couple of times; it seemed to be occupied by cars not belonging to the hotel. There's a mini-bar on the ground floor, which is very convenient, as well as washers and dryers.
DdangomochiIt’s a fantastic pension with amazing sea view, I sat at the window stoning for awhile, lol. There’s McDonalds, cafes and Lotteria within walking distance though we didn’t try any. Comes with parking and room is clean with under floor heating. Do note that it doesn’t come with elevators. The owners are very friendly and helpful, assisted us when we had issues with our rental vehicle. Great place to stay especially if you’re exploring West Jeju.

YYiniansijiThe room for this type is quite spacious, with two 1.5-meter double beds, easily accommodating four people.
There's no balcony, but it has large windows, and a smaller window that can be opened for ventilation.
The toilet is a bit small, but the shower area is a decent size.
The cleanliness is well maintained.
Given that it's an older hotel, I was prepared for it to be quite dated when I booked. However, upon arrival, I realized it must have been renovated, as the facilities didn't feel old at all. Everything seemed perfectly fine. It offers great value for money!
