"The hotel has a very good location, which is a big advantage. There is a coffee shop nearby, a convenience store, and many places to eat within walking distance. This made the stay very convenient and enjoyable.
The room itself is spacious and has a nice layout, including a comfortable single bed and large windows with a great panoramic view. I really liked the view from the room — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
However, there were some cleanliness issues that were quite disappointing. The carpet in the room was very dirty, and the slippers provided were also not clean, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.
In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, which was inconvenient.
Overall, the location and view are excellent, and the room size is good, but cleanliness and some facilities need improvement."

"Among the several hotels at Shinhwa World, Landing Resort seems to offer the best value for money. If you choose the package that includes the amusement park, you can collect vouchers at the front desk and then redeem them for ride tickets at the park. There are roller coasters, 4D movies, and other attractions for kids to enjoy. The complex is huge, with an entire floor dedicated to an outlet mall, plus various dining options. Basically, you don't need to leave the hotel to meet all your needs. The staff are quite enthusiastic, and the rooms are neat and clean, though the space is quite small."

"We stayed in a family room at the Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel for our family trip to Jeju with our child, and the experience exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly convenient for traveling with kids!
The family room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with comfortable bedding. There was plenty of room for two adults and one child. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the facilities were complete, making for a very comfortable stay. The package included tickets to Shinhwa Theme Park, which was a great deal as we didn't have to buy them separately. We also had unlimited access to the water park, which was just a short walk from the hotel, making it easy to go back to the hotel to rest without having to travel far.
The resort facilities were comprehensive, with restaurants and convenience stores readily available, making dining and shopping convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our child had an amazing time at the theme park, and when they were tired, we could just head back to the room to rest. It was an all-in-one resort experience that truly maximized our enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel for family trips; it offers great value for money. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Jeju!"

The hotel provides a free shuttle bus, but the timings and routes weren't convenient for me. I ended up taking taxis to get around, luckily Uber was available. There's only one restaurant, and I tried both breakfast and dinner, neither of which I'd recommend. The view from my room wasn't great; the hotel's main entrance on the left blocked a significant portion of the view, which felt a bit depressing during my week-long stay.
Overall, the experience was alright."

"The location couldn’t have been better. They provide parking, for SUVs, there is a separate parking lot which is nearly 4 mins walk from the hotel. And they also reimburse parking charges. The room is appropriately spacious, well-furnished and clean. And the bathroom is also very convenient and provided with basic things. It could be better to have different coffee and tea options in the room. But it is fine. For me and my family, if we go to Jeju again, would surely stay here."

"The environment here is very comfortable, right by the sea. It's lovely to go for a stroll downstairs, though it can be quite windy! The pool is beautiful and the bedding is very comfortable. The only downside is that the room is a bit small. You can walk down a few minutes to the street for food, but it seemed like many shops were closed. On the first night, we had some BBQ that was absolutely delicious—the best meal I had during my entire trip to Jeju Island!"

"First off, a lot of the hotel's descriptions on the booking page are inaccurate. I'm not sure how it got the 'Chinese Preferred' label, because the two front desk staff members working when I checked in didn't speak any Chinese and said there was no Chinese service. When I tried to communicate with them using a translation app, they seemed a bit impatient. Later, customer service told me they do have Chinese-speaking staff, but they weren't on duty. At the very least, the original staff should have explained that there are Chinese speakers, but they weren't available, and apologized. Also, regarding the deposit: the page clearly stated no deposit was required, and it never mentioned needing to put down a credit card number. They just said it was either a credit card or 100,000 Korean Won. The hotel facilities are standard chain fare, nothing special. I hope Trip.com can be more accurate in its hotel descriptions in the future, otherwise it's misleading for customers!"

"The location is pretty good and relatively quiet, but the place is quite run down, especially the bathroom – the toilet is really easy to accidentally misuse. The tatami room is like in picture 1; the upside is it's not damp. The king room is like in picture 2; the downside is housekeeping opens the windows during the day, so when you come back at night, the bed is very damp, which affects sleep. The owner is really nice and enthusiastic."

Guest UserWe arrived at night and there was no one at the front desk, so we had to self check-in. The air conditioning wasn't working, and we could only contact someone via WeChat. The person on the other end spoke Korean, which was really frustrating, especially since the hotel's description page stated they offered Chinese service. We didn't see any staff for several days, finally encountering someone during business hours on our last day.
The room wasn't very clean; the floor was dirty and the trash can was tiny.
The location was decent, very close to the walking street and Shilla Duty Free. They offer airport transfer, which is a big plus. It's also easy to catch a taxi right outside, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Guest UserThe carpet in the room was a bit dirty; I hope the hotel can replace it. The sponge cushion on the chair was also damaged by cigarette burns. On the plus side, it's still livable. It's 3km from the airport, and breakfast was decent. They offer luggage storage, so I bought disposable sheets and duvet covers for my trip. Overall, I'd give it an 85. We mostly took taxis because Jeju has a lot of hills, and walking is too tiring. We booked a one-day tour to Udo Island, and pickup/drop-off is available from this hotel. There's a convenience store downstairs. It's suitable for spontaneous travelers.

Anonymous UserThis was my most satisfying stay yet. Check-in is on the 6th floor, where they also have a paid laundry and drying service – I spent almost 50 RMB to wash all my clothes. Downstairs, there's a free airport shuttle. The service was excellent, and there's a coffee shop upstairs. The first floor leads directly to the duty-free shop, and there's even a currency exchange machine right by the elevator on the first floor of the hotel.

MinnieZhangThe hotel's soundproofing is extremely poor. On the first night, it felt very hot after 11 PM, and the air conditioning stayed at 24 degrees Celsius for over two hours (even though it was set to 18 degrees). There was also a constant thumping sound, similar to walking, from upstairs. After calling the front desk to report the issue, the noise did not stop. Later, after discussing with Trip.com customer service, we decided to change rooms. A front desk staff member came to help move our luggage to the new room. When we first arrived at the new room, the noise indeed disappeared, but it wasn't long before the thumping sound returned and continued non-stop until around 2:30 AM, severely affecting our rest. For light sleepers, it would be absolutely maddening.
On the second day, we realized the noise was coming from all directions. Both the ceiling and wall soundproofing were quite poor, with frequent strange noises. Overall, our stay significantly impacted our rest.
I called hotel room service to request two buckwheat pillows or firmer pillows, but the ones brought were the same as the original pillows in the room. English communication was not very smooth.
The room facilities are a bit old. The only advantage is the hotel's good location, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car as there is free parking. You just need to provide your license plate information to the front desk during check-in.

WudifeiyangyangI highly, highly, highly recommend this hotel! It was the best hotel experience we had during our trip to Jeju Island.
**Facilities:** The room was super new and incredibly clean. I really loved the bedding; the duvet was so comfortable! The room is a bit small, but genuinely very new and spotless.
**Service:** The front desk staff were all excellent. They kindly stored our luggage, which was very nice. The souvenirs in the small shop inside are also well worth buying.
It's extremely close to both the beach and Seongsan Ilchulbong, making it incredibly convenient! Highly recommend!

It had a microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, and even a foldable drying rack, so I didn't have to worry about where to dry my clothes. The public areas are really beautiful and comfortable; as soon as you step into the hotel, you feel like you're on vacation. The sea view is stunning on a clear day.
The front desk staff can communicate in English. Our room wasn't ready at the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel offered an alternative to switch to a non-sea view suite. We opted to wait for the sea-view room we booked, showing a proactive approach to problem-solving. Our luggage was delivered directly to the room, and we didn't encounter any unpleasant attitudes during our stay.
Our room was in the East Tower, which I believe is the older building. I was initially worried it might be too dated after reading some reviews, but it was actually fine! The room was indeed very small, but clean and odor-free, with a complimentary minibar. The balcony was quite large, and the sea view was satisfying. The room door had average soundproofing, but the balcony door was well-insulated, making the room generally quiet.

Guest UserStaying here was incredibly convenient. The hotel is only about an eight-minute taxi ride from the airport, and it's very clean. As a couple, we found it extremely handy. It's surrounded by eateries and very close to the city center. We could easily find many of the popular spots recommended on Xiaohongshu nearby. However, I'd still recommend using Google Maps for food searches, as about half of Xiaohongshu's recommendations are ads, and you might end up with a bad meal.
I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just share some pictures of the nearby attractions and the food I ate.

Guest UserBefore arriving at the guesthouse, the host texted to ask about my arrival time to make sure that someone will be at the reception to receive me :) instructions were very clear and the host was very polite. Free breakfast for the guests as well! There is an outdoor area where there is movie screening at night. Pantry and rest area are also very comfortable :) Toilet and dressing room are also kept clean! Maybe my only qualm is that the bunk bed was close to the ceiling so please be careful - tho they had foams to protect your head ! Overall a really good stay there and host recommended a really nice local food place to eat at so im very happy about it ! There are bus stops nearby to get to Dongmun Market or the Airport too.
