"The room was quite spacious, and it even had a balcony with great views of both sunrise and sunset! The hotel is right by the coastline, which is perfect for a stroll in the morning or evening, especially in the evening when the square gets lively! Dining is convenient too, with plenty of delicious options just across the street. It's also a quick walk to Dongdaemun Market, Chilseong-ro, and Black Pork Street. I really love this hotel and will definitely be back!"

The current one is a bit too sweet and not very sophisticated; I got a headache after sitting there for a while."

"Beautiful, absolutely stunning! Even though it's a bit of a trek from Seogwipo, the scenery is truly unique and irreplaceable. The hotel was fantastic too; you just turn left and walk a few steps to get to the pedestrian street. We ended up going there multiple times!"

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. There's a bus stop right outside, and the 202 bus makes it easy to explore the west side of the city at a leisurely pace. Upon check-in, we received two complimentary coffees. I absolutely loved the hotel's coffee shop and the walking path outside by the pool – the endless glass-like sea views were incredibly therapeutic! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance."

"Overall, the cleanliness was acceptable, but there were some details missing – hair on the toilet seat and dust on the table. The location is great, right opposite Shilla Duty Free and next to Baojian Road, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The bathroom only provided two cups and a hairdryer; you'll need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and comb. The towels were quite worn and starting to shed, so I'd recommend bringing your own. I'd also suggest bringing your own shampoo and shower gel, as what they provided was just a large, communal pump bottle that was... well, let's just say the first day's experience was unpleasant enough that I immediately went out and bought my own toiletries set for the second day."

"Whenever I visited Jeju before, I usually opted for accommodations near Baojian Road, as it's a livelier area for shopping and sightseeing. This time, I chose the Jeju Ocean Suite, which is located by the sea, close to shopping areas like Chilseong-ro and Dongmun Market. I booked a sea-view room, and overall, I was quite satisfied. Although it rained for several days and slightly affected the view, it was still very pleasant to sit by the window and watch the outside on a rainy day. The hotel staff were very polite and courteous. They provided two bottles of mineral water in the room daily. In line with environmental protection, the room doesn't offer disposable toiletries, so you need to bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. If you forget, you can buy them at the GS25 on the first floor, where they have both affordable and more expensive options. If I had to point out any downsides, I'd say the sofa in the room felt a bit old and saggy in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sit on. Also, the disposable slippers provided in the room were a bit too thin."

"Great stay overall. The hotel is in a quiet and convenient location, which made it very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, including the carpark staff. The room was well-maintained, though the carpet could have been cleaner. 2 minor issue was that the toilet light would occasionally switch off unexpectedly and window mesh are not sealed properly that caused the mosquito to fly in. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience."

"Very large space for our family of 3. We used the bedroom downstairs for our luggage while we slept upstairs. Filtered water dispenser with hot and cold water options meant that we did not have to buy water or boil water to make hot drinks. Kitchen was fully equipped if you need to cook. Smart TV in the living room allowed us to turn on Ms Rachel on Netflix for the toddler while we got ready. Washing machine and dryer located inside the first floor bathroom allowed us to do some laundry during our stay. A hanging rack was also provided for clothes that cannot be dried in the dryer. Plenty of towels provided. Strong water pressure in the shower with consistent hot water. Bed was a bit too hard for our liking but the pillows were comfortable. Linen was clean. We were allowed to drive and stop right outside the villa to unload / load the car before parking the car at the parking lots located at the entrance of the resort - great for rainy days and perfect for us as we were travelling with a toddler and also had a lot of luggage. There are two charging points for electric cars. Short 5 minute drive to the cafes and restaurants in Hyeopjae.
No blackout curtains meant sunlight shining on our faces at 6am. Long drive (around 50 minutes to 1 hour) to the airport / city centre. Very foul poop smell outside the villa on our first night, probably due to fertiliser from the nearby farm. No blinds for the toilet window so someone could easily walk to the back of the villa and looked into the toilet (which my husband did and he said he could easily see into the shower and toilet) so we tried covering the window with a plastic sheet. Disposable slippers that were provided were very thin and flimsy and difficult to wear / walk in. The one time I didn't wear it, I got a splinter in my foot from the wooden flooring on the first floor."

"Switched from Lotte Hotel Seogwipo to Regent Marine. It was super convenient, only about a ten-minute taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. We were given a room on the top floor with a partial sea view, and it was fantastic watching planes take off and land every day with the ocean in front of us. I remember being really impressed by Ramada and Emart twelve years ago. Regent Marine is about a ten-minute walk to Emart, and across the street is Chilseong-ro Shopping Street. Downstairs, there's McDonald's, GS25, CU, and 7-Eleven, all very close by. The duty-free shop and Baojian Road are about a forty-minute bus ride away. The hotel's fried chicken delivery also came with two free drinks, and it tasted great. There were also vouchers for the coffee shop downstairs. A lot of Korean Air flight attendants stay at this hotel. I felt it was a great and convenient stay, plus there's a swimming pool, which made the kids very happy. Highly recommend!!!"

ZhuanzhigangjingI booked this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu. The location is great, very close to Shilla and Lotte Duty Free shops – just a short walk away. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is eco-friendly and doesn't provide single-use toiletries. The large refillable shampoo and shower gel dispensers are fine, but the funniest thing is the large tube of shared toothpaste. People come and go, and everyone uses the same tube. I honestly think they could just skip providing it altogether, especially since each time you squeeze it, it touches someone else's toothbrush. Also, the toilet paper and tissue boxes in the room aren't replaced until they're completely empty. So, if the previous guest checked out and there's still some toilet paper left, it just stays there for the next guest to use until it runs out. In the bathroom, you shower in the bathtub, but there's no shower curtain and no bathmat. It's really annoying because the entire floor gets wet after a shower. Some of the standard rooms have a wet/dry separation with a glass door and no tub, while others are the kind where you shower in the tub. The room types definitely vary. The curtains don't block out much light. They provide two bottles of water daily, but if you have half a bottle left in your room, they'll only restock one bottle the next day, not two. Early check-in and late check-out seem to cost 10,000 Korean Won per hour.

RRRainstarI stayed during cherry blossom season, and it was super convenient to walk to Jeonnong-ro. If you're heading to the duty-free shop in the new city, it's just a five-minute walk to the bus stop. The road in front of the hotel wasn't congested either, making public transport and taxis easily accessible. Everything was great, except for getting to the old city beach area, which was a bit inconvenient (we opted for a taxi).

Guest UserFirst, my initial thoughts: I was prepared for a 'prison-like' room before checking in, but staying here, I actually found the room small but cozy! Coupled with other advantages, the actual experience exceeded my expectations.
Now, for the pros:
1. **Rich Community Facilities:** Besides the accommodation buildings, there's a standalone coffee shop, a standalone small bar (received a free beer voucher upon check-in), a GS25 convenience store (the female staff member was very friendly), a gift shop (at the front desk), and a breakfast/lunch restaurant (you can get a discount if you purchase breakfast at the front desk a day in advance).
2. **Excellent Location for Olle Trail 1:** It's very convenient for those doing Olle Trail Route 1. You can walk to Gwangchigi Beach, the starting point of Route 1, in about 10 minutes.
3. **Friendly Staff:** All the service staff were very friendly and could communicate well in English.
4. **Spacious Bathroom:** Although the room itself was small, the bathroom and shower area were quite spacious.
5. **Free Airport Shuttle:** This was an incredibly valuable service. I took the 10:30 AM shuttle to the airport. No reservation was needed, the bus arrived on time, and it took about an hour to reach the airport.
Areas for improvement:
1. **Lack of Hooks in Room:** My room had no hooks, except for two small ones in the toilet. I suggest adding one more in the main room without taking up extra space (I saw some other smaller room types had them).
2. **Soap Dispenser Design:** The hand soap dispenser had a short pump, which was inconvenient to use when my hands were dirty. A longer nozzle would be much better.
Overall, it was a very good stay. I would consider staying here again if I plan to do other Olle trails on the Seongsan side.

Guest UserFacilities: The smart toilet and Wi-Fi were great, but the shower being in the bathtub was a bit inconvenient, and the bathroom was a little small – I had to dry my hair outside. There's a mirror directly opposite the bed, so be aware if that bothers you.
Hygiene: The hygiene was very good; the room was clean and tidy overall, and housekeeping did a thorough job.
Environment: The location is excellent, close to Baojian Road, and an easy walk to both duty-free shops. There's a 7-Eleven right in the hotel, souvenir shops nearby, a CU convenience store across the street, and it's very close to the airport. Overall, it's very convenient.
Service: I requested not to have an end room when booking, but that's what I got. There was a slight smell in the hallway. The front desk staff weren't very communicative, and luggage storage was just next to the front desk, unsupervised.

This hostel is located within walking distance of Yongduam Rock, in a very quiet neighborhood with a school nearby. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and Mir had all the necessary facilities. It wasn't too crowded at night. I went for walks along the nearby coastline every morning and evening – the scenery was beautiful (even though it was super windy)! I envy people who live by the sea!

Guest UserThis place is honestly not as bad as the reviews make it seem. The room is your average Korean hostel room (no curtains tho). The bathroom is a bit messy but overall not dirty. The location is very convenient if you are planning to explore the island by bus.
For the very little price paid, I would stay at this hostel again!
