Had a really pleasant stay at Renai Hotel Kota Bharu. The hotel is in a very strategic location, making it convenient to get around the city.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was also one of the highlights, with plenty of choices including local Kelantanese dishes.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel may have an older style, but the hospitality, comfort and convenient location more than made up for it.
Would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Kota Bharu! 😊"

"Excellent service. As soon as we arrived at the lobby, the staff immediately opened and closed the car door for us. I've never encountered such service at any other hotel. Keep it up! The room even had a bathtub and a shower cubicle. Sarongs (kain pelikat) and prayer mats were provided for prayers. The room view was also beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kota Bharu. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious."

"I liked that it is near the river, it is calming to see the view and the river flow and people playing jet ski in Kelantan river, it's calming. the staff is accomodating and helpful, but it is an old hotel so the room may show the sign of it like the condition of wallpaper. the breakfast is great tho with nice variety and it's good"

"Had a very comfortable stay at Andiana Hotel. I was allowed to store my bag at the lobby before checking in. The hotel is very near to Siti Khadijah Market and within walking distance to the Friday morning market and night market.
There are iron and board, hairdryer, water dispenser and refrigerator on every floor. Prayer mats are also available for Muslim guests. There is a bench between the floors if you want to take a little rest and a smoking area (not sure why this is provided at all. Smokers should just smoke outside the building and not subject non-smokers to secondhand smoke).
There is no lift however so do consider this if you have heavy bags. There are also some mosquitoes in the common areas."

The facilities were good and convenient for families, and the location made it easy to get around Kota Bharu. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, and the overall service was efficient and professional.

"Its good to have 2 bedroom for my family here. A good location with convenient store, hipster cafe and fast food store around the corner. Easy to get local food too at nearby hawkers. But then, inside the homestay dont have water filter, its a bonus if they have one. Dealing with the a bit frustrating because she/he didnt reply my message. as an example, i send message 12.00noon on Sunday, give a call but she replied at 12.00noon on monday after i contacted the director."

Me with family got a good time stayed here and definitely will repeat again.
Kids having fun played at the swimming pool Level 6.
Only at night time, not much lamp at the swimming pool side.
Family with more than one car, need to pay extra, or you can pay 20myr for one day at the basement parking.
Overall, all is good.

The resort was impeccably maintained and exceeded their advertised claims.
The compound of the resort and the unit that I stayed in were very hygienacally maintained. All facilities such as air conditioning, WiFi, fans, fridges, etc. were without issues.
The most heartfelt and significant experience were the warmth, friendliness and interactions with the staff and owners of the resort.
The staff were very efficient and accommodating.
The owners were genuine, authentic- wonderful hosts !!
The heartfelt interactions, the meaningful insights, local knowledge and wisdoms imparted by both the hosts were THE highlights of the stay there. They were generous in deeds and in spirits. Please, please take some time to converse with them... They are wonderful people.
For the uninitiated who are looking for an authentic ”kampung” experience and those who want to harken back to the days of when the once lived in a kampung, this resort will deliver the experience.
A gem of a resort which I would, God Willing, be in my holiday plans for the future.

AAnonymous UserHad a solid stay overall. Check-in and check-out were fast, and the receptionist was welcoming. The building is old style, but the room and bathroom were comfortable.
Only shampoo and shower gel are provided. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Parking is available but very limited.
Iron is available but had burnt residue on it from a previous guest, so I couldn't use it.
Breakfast buffet is decent and gets the job done. Gym and pool area were quiet, but the pool water wasn't clear. There is also a paid massage chair in the lobby.
A hassle-free option if you just need a reliable place to stay.
