The price is not low, the location is in the shopping mall in the city center, and you can eat and watch movies when you go downstairs. The room is small, the health is average, and there are many small ants. Breakfast was ok.
Alila Hinu Bay

Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities). Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat. Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job. I will definitely be back!

A quite old hotel. Renovation is needed for furniture and decoration. Choice for breakfast was unfortunately poor Be ready to be charged for brewed coffee on breakfast At the same time staff was friendly and always involved. One example is when painkiller was brought to me by Umed in the middle of the night. I do appreciate so much such attitude 🧡

Muscat International Hotel Plaza

The hotel is well located, mosque was a 8 minutes walk away from the mosque, market and local attractions are close by as well as many restaurants nearby. In my opinion the hotel needs a refurb but is clean and tidy. The air con was a little noisy. The rooms were huge and had decent bathrooms. Little pricey but OK. When we arrived the staff were brilliant in helping us find our way around and offered great advise on where to go and places of interest. Breakfast was interesting which was mainly catered for the Indian palate. Overall, OK hotel.

Excellent welcome and attentive staff. Quality hotel with careful service. Large tiled room, very clean, lounge area and beautiful balcony. Daily cleaning. Nothing to complain about except the bathroom, which quickly ”floods” after a shower. The breakfast buffet is well stocked: local dishes, cheese, fruit, waffles, etc. A very large playroom for children, as rarely seen. A very good, affordable address just opposite the large Salalah mall (22 OMR in early October). This is our 6th visit to the region and our best hotel.

First of all, give affirmation, the service is very good, the room is quite large and the facilities are complete. The only downside is that there are no people in the city, so it looks rather bleak and there is a big supermarket nearby. It’s a good choice to find a quiet place.

This is not a 5 * hotel to begin with, so is the quality of the service. In its best you could consider it a fair 3* in Europe, we also stayed in other 5* in the Middle East, so we have somewhat to compare it with. Bathrobes wasn’t provided beforehand, soaps/body wash wasn’t filled without asking, no bathroom welcome kit, no soft drinks in the fridge. Very poor internet connection! I wasn’t able to videochat with my family at all, you will need a local SIM. Private beach is quite far (450m), you can use a golf car, however it’s not always available and most occupied as there is only one making the two way ride. Very limited variety of fresh fruits and salads, no options for smoothies, nuts or fresh made juices, which would be nice to have. No market onsite to buy any snacks for example, the nearest city is only accessible by car but quite far and not possible on foot, so you will have to a rent a car (there is nothing to see by the way in the city) or take a taxi for 10 OMR. People in the city are very friendly and welcoming, so we enjoyed our visit to Oman all in all!
