🔸In Hongyuan County, Aba Prefecture, Western Sichuan, along National Highway 248, there is a vast area filled with colorful prayer flags. Next to the endless flags stand 108 neatly arranged white pagodas, creating a spectacular sight. Architectural Features: The main structure is a large stupa reaching 37 meters in height. The base of the stupa has three tiers modeled after the base of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. It is adorned with 512 brass prayer wheels and several stone relief carvings. On each of the four sides of the stupa are large Buddha halls, primarily in Han Chinese architectural style. The golden top of the stupa, including the sun, moon, and umbrella canopy, is made of brass and covered with pure gold leaf, giving it a solemn appearance. Additionally, 119 smaller Buddha pagodas, each four meters tall, surround the main stupa, forming a unique pagoda forest. Cultural Value: White pagodas are important religious structures in Tibetan Buddhism and symbolize Tibetan Buddhist culture. Inside the park, the Tibetan scripture pavilion called the “Pure and Immaculate Hall” features exquisitely carved wooden Buddha shrines in Han style.
