We rented a car and drove all the way to Lovina and then to Amed. Amed is a very relaxing place and better weather than ubud in raining season. we totally recommend it. Don’t expect amazing sandy beaches but most of the hotels have nice sea view #spooktaculartrip

We just came to Amed yesterday and we are very much pleased by the sunnier days and relaxing vibes. In Ubud it was much more rainy. Also here you have nice view of the sea. Of course, the sea so far is dirty, almost everywhere we have been. But the villa we chose is very good value for money.

Amed, located on the upper right side of Bali, Indonesia! There aren't many tourists yet, so it's quiet and full of the real local Balinese feel. I also went there after receiving recommendations from locals. It's not particularly famous compared to famous areas in Bali and nearby islands, but it was attractive in its own right. Near Mt. Agung, you can see Mt. Agung and the sea at a glance, and the black sand beach made of volcanic ash was attractive! The sunset and sunrise seen here were also romantic.
