This place, known as “Kham Chanot”, is another major center for spiritual seekers, considered a must-visit for all. Its reputation for sanctity draws people from all over the country to worship continuously. The power of faith in the stories of the revered Naga serpent is significant to many. Moreover, an interesting feature of this site is the vast Chanot tree forest, which is unique to Thailand. Wat Pa Kham Chanod
Kham Chanod is a place to visit in Udon Thani that is better on weekdays because there are fewer people, it's convenient, and not crowded. The place is beautifully serene with nature, and Wat Pa Kham Chanod is located in Ban Dung district, Udon Thani province, about 100 km from Udon Thani city. It resembles a small island with a concrete walkway bridge shaped like a Naga serpent connecting it to Wat Si Suttho. When walking across the bridge to the Kham Chanod forest, shoes must be removed.

Breathtaking holy site 💜☁️
I could never get tired of Wat Chanod! Every year i will visit my family and we will all head out to the temple. The place really fills you with love and serenity . Everything is really organised and neat. Kudos to the caretaker of the temple for keeping it clean! Though the walking distance could be quite tiring but it is all worth it. It can be very hot so be sure to bring sunblock and lots and lots of water.
This magical place really brings the inner peace in you. You can make your merits there and also maybe you can make a wish . Even if you don't believe it, it doesn't hurt to just do it 😉 Wat Chanod has a very strong history and ancient artifacts that is very meaningful and valuable to all locals and to those who admires Wat Chanod.
