Tianjin Binhai Library
During recent years Tianjin Binhai Library became a very famous touristic attraction not only for locals, but also from the tourists from other cities (especially from Beijing). It got the popularity because it’s unique design. White walls with “waves” of the bookshelves all around the building. It has a nickname “The Eye” because of the white sphere in the middle of the main hall. The facade of the library also looks like a huge eye. Books in the shelves all around the walls are fake. They are there to create a special atmosphere. It’s possible to take a book in the reading rooms near the main hall.
📍Address- 旭升路347號. From downtown road will take 1,5 hour.

Binhai Library
📍 Tianjin, Binhai Cultural Center.
🚘 It’s quite far from the city center.
It’s a 5️⃣-level library.
👁 It’s nickname is “The Evil Eye” because the sphere.
🏨 There were not many restaurants, shopping places and hotels around but we visited around 4 years ago.
💰 There is not entrance fee.
⭕️Btw if you are going to find many books and study I have to tell there are not many books, the “books” you see everywhere in the picture are just 3D posters. The place is more like a park to take pictures and most of people visit for photos.

This was a great experience for me and my family. It is huge and beautiful, extraordinary pleasure to visit this place. There are books in English language on the fourth floor.Neat and quiet, special rooms for parent child reading. The bathroom is clean and hygienic, hot and warm water can be found at the hall. Love it, gonna come again.
[Tianjin Binhai New Area Day Card]
Tianjin Binhai New Area is a "corner" far from the city, airport and railway station. Although the geographical location is far away, as long as there is a playful heart, Excavating the nearby delicious and fun ~
[Play] The most famous attraction in this area is the Net Red Library--Tianjin Binhai Library. The taxi drivers know that many people go to Da Lao every day. Far away, I only came to the most beautiful library in Tianjin, but there is security check at the entrance of the library, and I can't bring a camera. The library is located in the cultural center, and the cultural center is a complex that combines eating, drinking and playing. It can be used for a whole day.
[Eating] There are three fishermen's steam seafood restaurants that are not far away from home. You can order in advance to eat. There are many kinds of seafood, and the food is also very novel. The most popular 2-4 seats need to be booked in advance, per capita consumption is about 200 yuan ~
[live] there are many accommodation options around, all brands have hotels, and because of the geographical location, the price will not be too expensive

Tianjin Binhai Travelogue
It's been a long time since I've seen the sea, and the sea breeze in spring is exceptionally comfortable. After arriving at Binhai Station and checking into the hotel for a short rest, I took a taxi to the 'Tianjin Marine Museum'. On both sides of the roads in the Binhai District, I saw many rented shops as well as those not in business. The situation was similar near the Marine Museum. Compared to the city center, this place is quieter. Once inside the museum, the crowd increased, with many students on study trips. In the museum, there is a history of marine life, many specimens of marine creatures on display. After browsing for a while, I learned in the Blue Tears special exhibition that the tiny tears by the sea are caused by the bioluminescence of dinoflagellates. Then, in the central outdoor area, there is a platform for sea viewing. The sea breeze is very refreshing, but the terrace by the sea does not give the feeling of being right by the sea. Just looking at the endless distance, my heart felt as calm as the distant sea surface.
After leaving the museum, the transportation by the sea was not as convenient as I imagined. There was no subway or bicycles, and even getting a taxi took a long time. It was getting late, so I returned to the Binhai area. I briefly visited the 'Binhai Library' and then had a delicious meal at the nearby Wanda Plaza.
The next day, I went to the 'Tianjin Polar Ocean World'. There were significantly more people here than at the Marine Museum, especially during the whale and dolphin show, where the venue was packed with no empty seats, each performance attracting several hundred people. The aquarium is full of lively little creatures, more interesting than the museum. The little penguins at the entrance were extremely cute, with various postures, standing or lying down, their eyes sometimes open and sometimes tightly closed. When the keeper came in, they scurried around with their little feet one after the other. The many marine creatures that followed were all curious, from the large polar bears to the small eels, and the jellyfish, among others, all very attractive.
After leaving the aquarium, I found a bicycle by the Haihe River and rode across the river bridge, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, with the scorching sun overhead and good views all around.
