Baguio Loakan Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
A good place to stay in Baguio!!
#timetotravel
Baguio Airport Homestay is located in Loakan, Baguio. It is definitely near the airport. It is a huge house that has many rooms. Each room has its own bathroom which I really like. We stayed here since this is the same venue of my friend's wedding. It was worth it. It has billiards, Netflix, kitchen and a place to chill. If you know how to play the piano, you can also play it there by the living area. It costs 600pesos per person/night. I think it's worth more than the price. We had a great stay.

A wonderful park
#2023travelwish
One of my favorite city is Baguio. It holds a special place in my heart. The famous Burnham Park is located here. It covers a total land area of 32.84 hectares. Famous activity in this park is biking which is loved by children. You can enjoy a boat ride too while enjoying the feel of the cold weather. The portion of the park hosting major events is the Melvin Jones Grandstand. Picnic groves is all around where people can have picnics. Happy to be able to visit this place this year.

Burnham Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Paterno Street, South Drive, Baguio City is located on the higher part of Baguio where you can see overlooking house and even the SM mall. The place is very quiet and relaxing. There, you will find more pine trees and there are also many nice place to sit in to enjoy bon fire and good food. The neighborhood is also interesting. There is no need to go downtown to find good food.

Baguio City. The City of Pines is ultimately one of the best places in the Philippines to relax. One of the places you can hangout is Burnham Park. At its center is where you can find Burnham Park, with gardens and a lake. They also have very good food around. I recommend their shawarma and puto bumbong Baguio. The place is very cold and have so many foods to enjoy and fresh flowers.

Strolling in Burnham Park
A trip to Baguio isn’t complete without strolling in Burnham Park. It’s one of the city’s most famous landmarks. While walking around the park may be the most enjoyable activity, children and adults can also rent go karts and bikes in one side of the park. Paddling and boating at the lagoon is also fun.
On a good day, I suggest that you stay for two or more hours at Burnham Park. There are a lot of cheap street food around the park that you can try. I highly recommend strawberry taho (soy), of course, and some strawberry ice cream. There are some small stalls that sell local delicacies like kakanin (sticky rice). You should try them, too.
It’s free to enter Burnham Park. The bicycles, go karts, and boats are for rent at an affordable rate. #summervacation #urbanexplorer

Burnham Park
Let's have a trip to the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City. Unlike other towns or provinces, the weather is here is cold because it is on top of the mountain? The famous park which is known to all locals or travellers is the Burnham Park. Dont miss to stop over here. Things to do:
1. You can rent a boat with different designs and go around the lake. You can do by yourself or assist by the local to do for you, depending on the minutes or hours you like.
2. Rent a bicycle for your kids and enjoy going around specific areas.
3. Picnic at park with your family, the weather and the nature park is so refreshing.
4. Taking picture at the garden, or rent a traditional costume for only 20 pesos, and have a remembrance being there.
5. Strolling around the city to other tourist spot nearby.
This is so much fun and worth remembering. Filipinos are friendly so dont worry, you never lost a way, dont hesitate to ask anybody in case you need so.

Enjoying Baguio 🥂
Visiting Baguio is always something I look forward to. No matter how many times I've visited the place and despite the long road travel, I still look forward to going here. Aside from its very cool climate (at least most of the time), I see it as a refuge from everyday life in busy Manila. There are many tourist spots to go to especially if you're a first time visitor. During my visits to Baguio, I have gone to several of these famous places like: The Lourdes Grotto, the statuesque Baguio Cathedral, The Mansion, Mines View Park, Wright Park, Botanical Garden, Good Shepherd Convent, Bell Church on the outskirts of the city proper going to La Trinidad, Philippine Military Academy and the famous Session Road.#staycation#gooutside#baguiotrip

Hungduan Rice Terraces Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
World Famous Rice Terraces!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
The view of the Banaue Rice Terraces is nothing but spectacular, amaxing and majestic. No wonder this has become a Unesco World Heritage and a National Cultural Treasure in the Philippines. Carved into the mountains of Ifugao 2000 years ago built by our ancestors with their bare hands. I am in awe looking at this beauty and can't help but be grateful to the people who made this method of cultivating rice and later on ispired the neighboring countries to do the same. Yes, the rice terraces that you see outside the Philippines are all inspired by the Banaue Rice Terraces.
How to get here: 1. From manila you can take a bus that will take you 9012 hours depending on traffic.
2. Take a flight to Cauayan Airport, then take a bus for 4 more hours.
Take Note: Upon arrival at the Banaue Town, you. have to pay 20 pesos as environmental fee. Enjoy your visit! You can also hite a guide to help you navigate the rice terraces. There will be a lot of guides at the town proper. #mytripvlog #tripblazers #philippines #nature #attraction #destination #nature

IMBAYAH BUFFET: SUNRISE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE
Inside Banaue Hotel, as the sun rises viewed from the windows of Imbayah Restaurant, I take my morning buffet breakfast which is inclusive to my hotel booking reservation. I enjoyed my morning brewed mountain provinces coffee, with my toasted bread and champurado, filipino and continental breakfast, plus fruits and vegetable salad make my whole morning meal a great moment of greeting a new day. It is another day. Everytime I go to Banaue, this is the moment I always missed: Breakfast by the view of Cordillera mountains on the rising sun.#celebratewithtrip #foodie #mytripvlog #tripblazers

BANAUE HOTEL: MY HANG OUT TO CONQUER BATAD
#celebratewithtrip
One of my most memorable trips is Banaue, Ifugao where you can find the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Batad Rice Terraces and Bangaan Rice Terraces. It is 8-9 hrs travel via NLEX, SCTEX, TPLEX taking Pura Exit to Dalton Pass and drive straight to Bagabag then enter Ifugao to Banaue. I choose Banaue Hotel which is 1/2 km before the town center. It is a government hotel which gives the indigenous feeling and ambiance of the place. Buffet breakfast is excellent with the like of champurado and dried fish. It has swimming pool but the cold weather prevents me to dip in. But of course, I need to see BATAD. It is a 19 mins drive by car but I need to walk to Batad. I hired a guide to take the best trails and to tell about the history and custom of the locals. It was a difficult trekking and I did not finish because I was not too ready. Next time, I will come back and conquer Batad Terraces!#mytripvlog#mountainview#tripblazers#spooktaculartrip#fallingforfall#terracefields#trekking#mountainhike

Baguio Botanical Garden Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Botanical Garden in Baguio City! 😯
A must-see place if you are already in Baguio for a summer vacation. Our trip to Baguio wouldn't be complete without a visit to Botanical Garden. It's a perfect place for a quiet atmosphere, a good walk, and a serene and laid-back environment. During the time we visited the place, the entrance fee at the botanical park for adults is 10php only. Super cheap! I travelled here with my family twice already and we still love the place. I think it's our go-to place whenever we are in Baguio.

Outdoor escape
#2023travelwish
If you're looking for an outdoor escape that's both picturesque and relaxing, look no further than the Botanical Garden in Baguio City. Nestled in the heart of Baguio City, this sprawling garden is home to a variety of indigenous plants and flowers. Lately it's LED lights illuminates beautifully the surrounding making it warm, lovely and romantic.

Wander often, wonder always 💞❣️
It is not complete if you will not visit this tourist attraction located at Leonard Wood Rd, Baguio. This is called as Baguio Botanical Garden. In this area, we've seen different and colorful kinds of plants and flowers. It is calming and relaxing since we're surrounded by trees, plants and flowers. There's also a minimal entrance fee when you visit this garden.
Botanical garden is one of my favorite place here in Baguio. It is relaxing place even there are many tourist. The views are refreshing. You will enjoy every minute you spend there and it relieves your stress. It makes you free from problems. We also tried their Igorot costume and got a lot of pictures taken. This is really a good memory to remember and we're going to visit this again if we have time.
