The city panorama is especially incredible in the evening at sunset with the building lights. 🌴 Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Park An unusual hiking experience through jungles with waterfalls and a petting zoo featuring capybaras. You can also spot a red panda here. 💕 Romance Park This place offers an interesting show with acrobatics, dancing, lights, and special effects. You truly forget you're sitting in a theater. The performance is based on Chinese legends and tales. 🪷 Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park A giant statue of the goddess Guanyin, standing 108 meters tall, is located right in the sea, and inside is a temple with a golden Buddha. 🔥 Hot Springs The island is home to dozens of hot springs with mineral water of varying temperatures. A great way to recharge. 📚 Sanya Li and Miao Village An ethnographic park dedicated to the island's indigenous people. It showcases traditional houses, crafts, and performances. The Li and Miao ethnic groups lived here long before active Chinese colonization. ❕ A passport or a high-quality photo of it on your phone is required for visiting most attractions.

This Shenyudao Lake (Shényù Dǎo) is an official 4A-level landmark in Baoting County, in the heart of Hainan. It's about an hour's drive from Sanya. We recently visited here with our whole family :) What is this place: Shenyudao Holiday Hotel (the only one within the landmark) If you stay at the hotel, admission and boat tickets on the lake are free. Nearby is a tranquil natural lake, surrounded by tropical greenery, bridges, paths, silence, and a feeling as if time has stood still here. It's a true haven of peace!!! The lush, green canopy stretched out as far as the eye could see, with vibrant trees swaying gently in the breeze. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating shimmering patterns on the ground below. The mountains in the distance added a majestic backdrop, their peaks piercing the clear blue sky. It was a quickly and smoothly reach to the top, thanks to the well-organized transportation, and I barely had time to absorb the stunning scenery before stepping onto the glass floor. The view was so captivating that I felt like I was walking on air, surrounded by nature’s incredible artistry. At first, I felt a little nervous walking across it, as the height and length were a bit intimidating. However, as I took a few steps forward, the breathtaking views around me started to captivate my attention. The lush green forests stretching beneath and the clear blue sky above created an incredible scene. 🌿 Gradually, my fears faded, and I found myself simply enjoying the stunning scenery and feeling a sense of freedom and adventure. From the center of Dadonghai Bay, you can take bus 332. The stop is near the Leto shopping center, and the journey takes about 1 hour. 🔥The main attraction is the glass bridge over the canyon, offering breathtaking views. Our journey through Hainan was a true contrast of nature and sensations. 🏖 Yalong Bay is the perfect place to simply enjoy life. We stayed at the Hualux Hotel, in a room with a stunning ocean view and a bathtub right on the balcony — mornings with a cup of coffee and the endless expanse of the sea will be unforgettable. Our days were spent on the beach: soft sand, warm water, and atmospheric sunsets that were hard to look away from. 🌿 After our seaside retreat, we headed to Yanoda Rainforest Park, where we discovered a completely different side of Hainan — mountainous, green, and cool. Here, we stayed at the Birds Nest Resort, in the "Peacock" villa with a magnificent panoramic view of the jungle. In the mornings, mist rolled over the mountains, and in the evenings, we could hear the cicadas singing. 🚶 We explored Yanoda Park on foot — suspension bridges, waterfalls, and trails among tropical plants. A true adventure and a mental reset. ✨ This was a journey where the ocean meets the mountains, and luxury blends with nature.

If you're planning a trip to Sanya, make sure to save this post! 🚇 Transportation Don't rush to get a taxi when you arrive in Sanya. There are airport buses at Exit 5 that go directly to the city center. If you have a lot of luggage, go to the parking lot on the 3rd floor opposite Exit 7 to get a ride-hailing car. The drivers are quick to accept orders, so you don't have to worry about not getting a car. 📆 Travel planning If it's your first time in Sanya, don't try to visit all the attractions in one day! The attractions in Sanya are scattered, so it's best to visit one area at a time. Sanya Bay, Dadonghai, Yalong Bay, and Haitang Bay each have their own unique charm. Take your time to enjoy the relaxing island atmosphere. If you want to take a beautiful aerial photo of the Nanhai Guanyin statue from the plane, choose a window seat on the left side in the last five rows when checking in. 🏨 Accommodation Choose a hotel in Sanya Bay or Dadonghai. These areas are convenient for transportation, have many attractions nearby, and are lively at night. There are hotels in all price ranges, so you can find one that fits your budget. 🌤 Weather The weather in Sanya is changeable, with temperatures usually between 25 and 32 degrees.
