It’s about a 10-minute drive to Windermere train station. Many rooms have direct views of the lake, well-manicured gardens, and surrounding hills. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with beds so comfortable you won’t want to get up. The sweeping view encompasses not just the iconic honey-colored historic buildings but extends to landmarks like the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey, the River Avon, and distant hills.
