I stopped the car and stood on the roadside shoulder, watching for a long time. The snow-capped mountains are stern, the peach blossoms delicate; two completely opposite things growing together in such harmony that it leaves one speechless. Walking into the peach forest, I realized the trees were astonishingly thick. The bark is dark, the branches gnarled, at least a hundred years old.
