My trip to Bowral this time revolved around two main goals: seeing the tulips and eating at Gumnut Patisserie. 🌷 Tulip Time I arrived right in time for Bowral's tulip season, and the whole town was instantly brimming with spring vibes. Huge patches of tulips in various colors bloomed across the gardens, with red, yellow, pink, and purple beautifully intertwined. Compared to the massive flower shows in Melbourne or Sydney, I actually find Bowral to be much more laid-back. The town itself isn't huge. After admiring the flowers, you can just wander around the neighborhood, checking out the streets and residential areas without the pressure of rushing to the next spot. 🌸 Spring in the Southern Highlands Located in the Southern Highlands, Bowral enjoys a much cooler climate than Sydney. So, even if you just drive down for half a day, you'll definitely notice the change of scenery and atmosphere. Thanks to Trip.com, you can easily compare prices with all other airline. Not a first timer with PAL but I just want to feature what I like with PAL. I like PAL because theey allow you to change seat upon online check-in for FREE! Yes, it is free! I did not expect it since with other airlines, they assign you with a seat and that is final! When you want to change it, there's a price for that. But with PAL, it is free. Another thing is that, they will give you snacks---a coffee or tea, water and cookies. Here's more, they have bigger seat dimension that is more comfortable.

We visited Centennial Vineyards twice on our four day trip to the Southern Highlands. The cellar door has a wine tasting of 10 x wines that you can choose from the list for $5. We went twice with different friends and was able to go in without a booking. Next door was the restaurant which we had lunch at. The food was quite good, and we got a table next to the fireplace. the building and surrounds are beautiful.
