This time I stayed at the Twin Room Spycher at BnB Brienz, a charming Swiss-style chalet that was much larger than I expected. The room had a sofa, a single bed, and two single beds pushed together. There were also two fans, making for a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom was small, but the hot water temperature was just right, making for a very comfortable stay overall. But what I loved most about the room were the two picturesque windows. One side offered views of Lake Brienz and the mountains, while the other side offered views of Swiss chalets, and occasionally, the red Brienz Rothorn Bahn train would slowly pass by 🚂 It truly felt like living in a fairytale. In the morning, breakfast was a typical simple Swiss breakfast: bread, boiled eggs, and a cup of coffee. While the food wasn't fancy, enjoying breakfast while gazing at the mountain views made it feel like the happiest part of traveling in Switzerland. If you get up a little earlier, I highly recommend sitting on the benches in the courtyard. Watching the morning sun slowly rise over the mountains, casting a soft golden glow, and then the surroundings quiet down to the pure beauty of the scenery.
