One of the places I was most excited to see around Melbourne was the Brighton Bathing Boxes. I had seen the colorful little beach huts countless times in photos, but standing in front of them in person was even more charming than I expected. Located along Brighton Beach, these historic bathing boxes line the shore facing Port Phillip Bay. Each one has its own unique colors and designs, which makes the whole beach feel like an open-air art gallery. My favorite part was simply walking along the beach and looking at the different boxes. Some were decorated with bright Australian themes, while others had playful patterns and personal designs. The famous Australian flag bathing box was definitely one of the ones I wanted to photograph. What surprised me was how peaceful Brighton felt.
