Adults-Only Beachfront Hotel with Memorable Excursions
This adults-only hotel was a perfect fit for us. Located right on the beach like many resorts in Mauritius, it offered excellent package options. We stayed in a ground-floor unit, with the beach just about 20 meters from our verandah. During our trip, we took a morning tour to the Botanical Gardens, about an hour’s drive from the hotel. Additionally, we enjoyed a full-day catamaran excursion that included snorkeling for an hour in the reefs and a two-hour stop at Ile Cerf—great for parasailing but quite crowded with tourists.
A 20-minute bus transfer allowed us to visit the Raddisson Azure from the Raddisson Lafayette. The beach there was fantastic, and lunch at their restaurant was included in our package. Walking from our hotel felt safe, although the roads in Mauritius are a bit narrow. On a windy day, we visited the nearby National Park, just a 10-minute walk away, which proved to be a worthwhile experience. Otherwise, the weather during our stay was terrific.
The hotel ensured entertainment every night with live performances, and their pancakes served during afternoon tea or coffee were absolutely delightful. All in all, we had an amazing time here!
