2026 Camarillo Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in August)

The Oxnard outlet mall system is wide spread across many miles (definitely more than five miles). This place is so huge that it's walk till you drop. If you are coming with family, it's best to go on a cloudy or rainy day. There are no shades in the area and requires outside walking from shop to shop. If your kids will get tantrum from heat waves, don't come on a sunny day. Camarillo Premium outlet is the largest of the outlet malls. There are 'smaller' outlets which is still quite large within a five mile radius of the Premium outlet. This area has everyone covered so there is something for everyone to look at or shop.

Camarillo does not have a large commercial Mario park, but Mission Oaks Park is a locally popular free Mario-themed family park. Day 3️⃣: Solvang Danish Village - Santa Barbara Town - Camarillo Premium Outlets - Los Angeles (LA) Both towns on this day were quite nice. Before coming, I thought Santa Barbara was more famous, but I preferred the fairy tale town of Solvang. Solvang Danish Village A Nordic fairy tale kingdom, the buildings in the town are very beautiful and colorful. Landmark: Solvang Windmill 📍At the intersection of Alisal Road and Copenhagen Dr, also featuring the Hans Christian Andersen Museum and Danish-style architecture. Besides taking photos and checking in, you can also enjoy desserts. About an hour’s drive from Santa Barbara, conveniently on the way back to Los Angeles.
