Cannock travel guide and discussion

cannock chase woodlands and reservoirs are great places for outdoor activities and fun things #travel2026 #naturalwonders #uknature

Beautiful Cannock Chase Forest. Visitor centres at both Birches Valley and Marquis Drive. Parking at Marquis Drive (as of 2025) was free whilst Birches Valley was quite expensive. Birches Valley features Go Ape and bike hire. Would recommend visiting on a midweek term time day for a more peaceful experience. Some great mountain bike trails if that is your thing.

It was a quite and good location It had toiletries at reception which is a nice touch

🏠 Accommodation 1.Holiday Inn Birmingham North - Cannock I would not recommend this hotel . They state they have EV chargers but no charger - just a parking space

Very beautiful!

Day out in cannock with work on a nice day.

#newyearnewtrip There are a number of OK Diner around United Kingdom but I went to the OK Diner in Derby, which is located on Pride Park, a commercial area near the Derby city center. You can get there by car, from Derby City Centre, head southeast towards Pride Park via Derby Road (A6) and follow the signs for Pride Park and M1, and you'll find the OK Diner on Sir Frank Whittle Road, just off the main area of Pride Park. They have plenty of parking areas. Address: Ok Diners, A38 Southbound, Egginton, Derby DE65 6GY Opening Hours: 9am - 8pm

#newyearnewtrip If you wanted to experience a classic 50s American diner restaurant, you can stop by Ok Diner at the roadside to enjoy brunch or lunch. They offer varieties of foods such as burger, fried chicken, all day breakfast, bagel, sandwich and more. They also offer varieties of beverage such as coffee, tea, juice and others. There are few branches of Ok Diner in around United Kingdom, you can search it online. A child under 10 years old can eat for free from the children’s menu when an adult purchases a main course.

shopping

#Shopping First impressions are amazing Details of the main entrance facade and The architecture of the other buildings is equally impressive You can find the two cafes (pavilion style) in the center. It's comfortable to sit outside in the sun There are many shops and places to eat here Toilets/facilities are also of first class standard Could easily spend hours in this place This designer brand outlet store Good news when you live in Warwickshire I've been here several times. But I always come home with shopping bags Because I can find things that you can't find in regular stores outside The cheapest thing The staff in all areas of the store are very professional They will make you feel happy and explained properly They all help make the travel shopping experience Become a Royal Experience I will definitely come back for shopping🛍️😍👍🏻
