Capitola travel guide and discussion

Amazing maneuverability on the water. Only wish if I can move like them. Using my DLSR for some surfing shots. #passionpassport #staycation #gooutside #mytripvlog #californiacoast #california_surf #surfing #santacruz #MyTripVlog #bucketlistreboot

In February 2025, a great place to visit with friends for a half-day trip to Half Moon Bay. Capitola Village, located in Santa Cruz, Northern California, features colorful Mediterranean-style buildings and stunning ocean views. The beach pier is perfect for swimming, surfing, and fishing, and there are numerous restaurants and shops. Every year, the village hosts an art and wine festival for visitors to enjoy, making it an ideal spot for leisure and entertainment.

This bright little beach is suitable for a family vacation. When we arrived, we saw a group of lower grade children having an outing on the beach, which was quite lively. There is a long boardwalk on the beach that leads directly to the sea. You can rent a boat to go fishing, and there is also a seafood restaurant next to it. There are colorful cottages on the shore, and tourists live in the guest houses. It is very pleasant to see many people having breakfast leisurely. If you don't mind going into the water, it's fun to play in the waves and compete with the seagulls in picking up shells. In short, it is recommended to stop at this attraction if you have time. #capitolabeach #highway1 #california
