2026 Cervia Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in August)

It was a delightful vacation. The hotel’s location is excellent, the food was delicious, the staff very friendly, and the beach stunning. This is our second year staying at a Universal hotel. We were a group of five occupying two rooms, one of which had a wonderful sea view. The only downside was the difficulty in finding parking around the hotel, though it could be solved by parking farther away. As mentioned earlier, the beach in front of the hotel was enchanting—clear water like a swimming pool, especially suitable for children. I absolutely recommend this place.

📅 Itinerary Day1: The delightful historic centre of Ravenna with unexpected art and wonders at every turn. Check out the covered market in the centre and, of course, the breathtaking mosaics for which the town is famous. : Day2: Mirabilandia is a big theme park just a stone’s throw from Ravenna. Your children will love it! Late afternoon trip to the beach which is very safe and sandy. Day3: Italy and Europe in miniature in Viserbella (Rimini) . Visit the sights of Italy and Europe all in the same place. Lots of fun activities for children and adults alike. The gondola trip around mini-Venice is a must! 🏨 Accomodation : we stayed in Hotel Nautic in Viserba. The front entrance is on a pedestrian area, the terrace of our room looked directly over the beach. Clean, quiet, reasonably priced and friendly helpful staff 🍴 Food Recommendations: we had dinner at “Bar La Botte”, relaxed good food, pleasant staff, good value 📌 Tips

🎡【Location – Bustling City Right Downstairs】 I chose this hotel purely for its "lazy-friendly" factor. The hotel is right next to Shimao Plaza, practically within walking distance. No need to drive in the evenings; just take the elevator down, and you'll find hot pot, barbecue, a cinema, a children's playground… everything you could want. Traveling with kids is always a hassle, and this "staying right in the shopping district" feeling is so convenient. 🚇【Transportation – A Landmark on the City's Network】 It's within walking distance of Xin Guo Station on Metro Line 3. Whether you're visiting the gardens in Gusu District or enjoying the night view of Jinji Lake, the metro line connects you to most places. For those driving, the hotel has an underground parking garage with ample spaces, making it easy to get around. For families with luggage and kids, saving a step is a blessing. 🛏【Rooms – Vienna's Signature Deep Sleep】 Vienna's "Deep Sleep" series has never disappointed. The mattress offered excellent support, and the goose down pillows were very comfortable. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning view of the Suzhou skyline against the night sky – a truly soothing experience. The room was well-soundproofed; despite being in a bustling area, it became instantly quiet after closing the windows. After a long day of sightseeing, a good night's sleep was the best thing about a relaxing vacation. 🍳 【Breakfast: A Fusion of East and West】 Breakfast was served in the hotel's buffet restaurant, offering a wide variety of options. Chinese options included hot dishes, steamed snacks, and freshly cooked noodles; Western options included bread, salads, and coffee. Kids won't be picky eaters, and adults can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee to recharge. A satisfying breakfast was perfect for starting the day with renewed energy. 👨‍👩‍👧 【Family-Friendly: Warmth in the Details】 The front desk staff, noticing we had a child, proactively provided slippers and toothbrushes for kids and even recommended a nearby playground. This proactive service immediately boosted our positive impression of the brand. ✨ 【Stay Summary】 If you're not in Suzhou rushing to see tourist attractions, but rather looking to comfortably eat, drink, shop, and enjoy the city's rhythm, this Vienna Hotel is a no-brainer. Located next to a shopping mall, it allows you to end a tiring day with a deep sleep, offering both the vibrancy of the city and the privacy of quality accommodation. Perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends enjoying food and shopping.
