What makes it special isn’t just the age — it’s the energy. As I climbed toward the temple, set against a sweeping valley of layered farms and forested slopes, a quiet peace took over. Inside, the deity Murugan, sculpted by sage Bogar using Navapashanam (a mystical blend of nine poisons turned medicinal), holds deep cultural and spiritual significance. Locals say the temple watches over Poombarai — and standing there, I could feel that presence. It wasn’t just a visit. It was a connection.

I did a two day, one night tour of Kodaikanal. It was such a lovely experience. The tour guide had a drone, so we took the drone shot from the dolphin nose. It was all foggy and misty but and the activities we did were very memorable. Highlight was Guna Caves which I Posted separately here. Its a Fun weekend trip.
