I based myself in Eilat for three nights in March and did Coral Beach Nature Reserve and Dolphin Reef on the same morning. Bus 15 from North Beach to Coral Beach took 20 minutes, ₪5.90 tap-on card. Reserve entry is ₪40 adult (2026 NPA rate), open 09:00–18:00 summer, last entry 17:00.Inside, wooden bridges run over the reef—no need to snorkel to see parrotfish and brain coral, though I rented mask+fins at the kiosk for ₪30 and went in anyway. Water clarity at 10 am was absurd: 15 m visibility, surgeonfish weaving through staghorn. Then I walked 800 m south along the shore path to Dolphin Reef (₪67 entry, card only; snorkel-with-dolphins ₪295, dive ₪375 if prebooked).The draw isn't a tank—it's a roped-off bay where semi-wild bottlenoses cruise past a floating glass-bottom deck. I lay on the deck for 40 minutes and counted six surfacings; no touching, no feeding, which I respect more than a dolphin show. Mistake: I tried to do both after 13:00—Coral Beach light goes flat and Dolphin Reef deck gets crowded with package tourists. Morning is the deal. Another mistake: assuming cash works at Dolphin Reef; it's card-only now. Food inside Dolphin Reef is ₪45 for a sad salad, so eat at the Coral Beach kiosk (₪18 pita) beforehand. Verdict: Coral Beach alone is the better value (₪40 for world-class reef access), but Dolphin Reef's deck is the only place in Israel where you watch dolphins without a cage—stack them only if you start by 08:30. Question: would you pay ₪107 total for two adjacent Red Sea sites, or skip Dolphin Reef and snorkel Coral Beach twice?

My first visit to the Aria was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful, and the service was friendly. It was quiet, offering a nice break from the busy activities. All staff members and restaurant employees greeted us with smiles. I tried a few restaurants—Javier’s, Patisserie, and Salt and Ivy—all of which were excellent. The pool area was very nice, though I found it strange that it closed so early (7 pm) despite the summer sun and high temperatures. I enjoyed daily visits to the pool and had some fantastic cocktails.

This was our second time visiting, and it's definitely not a one-hit wonder. After staying at Aria in 2024, we knew this was the only place we’d stay when returning to this amazing city. We had a different room this time, but the same quality, cleanliness, and hospitality were still present. The breakfast was amazing, offering everything needed to energize us for a busy day of sightseeing. It was wonderful seeing Jason again—18 months ago, he made us feel like we were the only guests, and once again provided fabulous service.

I thought snorkeling was just "swimming and looking at fish," but it turned out... it's completely different! 😂 I almost got swept away by the current at Coral Beach 😅 It was my first snorkeling experience, and for the first 20 minutes, I was truly in shock! Seriously, the current constantly pulls you to the side, your mask fogs up, and all you can think about is: "I just hope I don't step on a sea urchin!" I looked down so intensely that I forgot how to breathe normally. At times, I felt like I was having a mini-panic attack—the depth, the waves, the terrifying current, and a real, living underwater world beneath you. It felt like you were in a computer game, only it was all real 😳 At some point, I just stopped, took a deep breath, and decided: "Either I calm down now, or I'll regret it later." And you know what? It was simply brilliant. The fear disappeared, and in its place came an incredible delight! I saw vibrant fish right next to the corals, clear water, and that very underwater world I'd previously only known about from YouTube videos. And these are emotions that can't be conveyed through a screen. Yes, it was truly scary, but it's moments like these that you remember most vividly. Now I understand people who fall in love with snorkeling the first time 🌊💙 If you've never tried it, you should definitely try it at least once in your life! Think whole the rest of the world is freezing you get to lay on the beach with a cocktail and enjoy the warm weather. for those who like to snorkleling or scuba dive, you will have plenty to see here. the hotels are a bit expensive but worth it as long as you pick the right chain (Isrotel). The locals are extremely friendly and it is very easy to make new friends or get around. The city is very small so you only need public transport or a taxi once in a while, other then that you can easily get around by walking.
