The hotel Estival Maramar is a brand-new hotel that opened in 2026, and the first thing that stood out to me was the design. Everything feels modern, stylish and very well thought out. The rooms are beautiful, everything is extremely clean, and the whole hotel has a really nice aesthetic. Location & atmosphere The hotel is directly by the beach in Coma-ruga, a quiet and relaxing seaside town. It’s definitely family-friendly, but it still feels calm and is perfect if you just want to switch off for a few days. Barcelona is also easy to reach by express train in around an hour. Rooftop & spa One of my favorite parts was the rooftop pool. The views are beautiful and it’s such a relaxing place to spend the afternoon. There’s also a spa if you want an even quieter break. The food The buffet was surprisingly good and definitely better than what I’ve had at many other hotels. Dinner changes every day, with different themes like seafood, Mexican or Spanish food, so there’s always something new to try. My favorite part For me, the highlight is simply how beautiful the hotel is. From the rooms to the rooftop and all the little design choices, everything comes together perfectly. A really nice choice for a relaxing beach stay near Barcelona.

It's well worth it; the museum boasts a fascinating collection of paintings, sculptures, medieval sacred art, antique furniture, and cushions. You'll be amazed by the museum's exceptional and extensive collection of 20th-century Catalan paintings and the high quality of other exhibits.
