Sorrento-Positano: The SITA bus takes about 45-60 minutes and usually leaves earlier in the day, which is good for day trips, but it gets insanely crowded. The ferry takes 40 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the route. It costs more, but it's way more comfortable! If you're doing a day trip, l would take an early bus to Positano, and book a late ferry back to Sorrento. um Positano-Amalfi: Same story here. The bus takes around 40 minutes and is usually packed. The ferry is 15-30 minutes, more expensive, but much easier. Amalfi-Ravello: Bus only, it takes about 30 minutes. The bus starts from Amalfi, so if you're coming from somewhere else, you'll need to change here. This fantastic little hotel was ideal for exploring Rome, located just 5 minutes from the station, making it easy to hop on the fast train to Naples and visit Pompeii and Herculaneum. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Our 4th-floor room had air conditioning, keeping it cool, along with a free room safe, tea and coffee facilities, and was spotlessly clean. It also offered a wonderful view of the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica. Booking directly gave us excellent value. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!
