Another spot in Chongqing we visited in the evening. We headed there specifically to see the view of Raffles City Chongqing from the angle of Qianfo Temple, but unfortunately, it was raining the day we went. By the time we arrived, the temple lights had already been turned off 🥹. It was such a bummer because it happened to be our last night in Chongqing, so we didn't get to see the view we were hoping for. If you want to follow in our footsteps, I recommend getting off at 喜马拉雅公馆 (Himalaya Mansion). Don't forget to check the lighting schedule before you head out so you don't miss out on the stunning views like we did! 🇨🇳 Fenghuang Ancient Town (凤凰古城) is absolutely stunning at night, especially when the riverside lights up ✨ We were a bit short on time this trip, so we only did a day trip, but I quickly realized that one day just isn't enough 😂 The journey is quite long, and getting there takes up a significant chunk of the day. The nighttime atmosphere is magical, though it does get quite crowded. If you have the time, I highly recommend staying for 2 days and 1 night.
