💎🪨 Crystal Cave,
Bermuda 🇧🇲
Crystal Cave is one of Bermuda’s most spectacular underground attractions, famous for its crystal-clear underground lake, sparkling stalactites, stalagmites, and dramatic limestone formations.
📍 Location: Hamilton Parish, Bermuda
🌊 Famous for: Crystal-clear underground lake
🪨 Type: Limestone cave
💎 Highlights: Stalactites, stalagmites, crystal formations & turquoise water
✨ What Makes Crystal Cave Special?
The cave was discovered in 1907 when two Bermudian boys searching for a lost cricket ball accidentally found an entrance to the underground cavern.
Inside, visitors descend into a remarkable subterranean world. A deep, clear lake lies beneath the cave, while stalactites hang from the ceiling and stalagmites rise from the floor, creating spectacular natural formations.
The clear water allows visitors to see formations beneath the surface, making the cave look almost like a giant natural crystal palace. 💎💙
🌊 Fantasy Cave
Nearby Fantasy Cave is another fascinating cave attraction and can be visited as part of the same experience.
📸 Best for: Nature photography, cave exploration, geology & unique travel experiences.
✨ Crystal Cave is a hidden world beneath Bermuda—where crystal formations sparkle above an impossibly clear underground lake. 💎🌊🇧🇲

Bermuda Railway Trail: Somerset to St. George’s Coastal Railway Cut Cliff Path
#arrivalguide The Bermuda Railway Trail is 18 miles of former railbed from Somerset (west) to St. George’s (east), free, open dawn–dusk, no motorbikes on the footpath sections.I walked the central chunk: Somerset Bridge → Fort Scaur → Flatts → Ferry Reach → St. George’s, about 11 miles over two mornings. Start at Somerset Bridge (world’s smallest drawbridge); the first 3 miles are paved and flat past Mangrove Bay, then the cut climbs onto cliff edges above the North Shore with old rail bridges and Khyber Pass tunnel (bring a light—pitch black for 40 m). Buses (routes 7/8) parallel much of it, so you can bail out; a single-ride token is BD$3.50, cash or BermudaGo app. I rented a hybrid bike from a Hamilton shop at BD$35/day and covered more, but the Somerset–Scaur pavement is the only truly smooth stretch—east of Flatts you dismount for steps and road crossings. No water fountains on the trail; pack 2 L. The Ferry Reach section is the loneliest, with Atlantic cliffs and no shade. Rule: stay off the roadway when the trail dumps you onto Middle Road—tourists get clipped there. My take: the cliff-cut east half (Ferry Reach to St. George’s) beats the suburban west half, but the whole thing is a history lesson more than a wilderness hike. Would you bike it end-to-end in one long day, or split it like I did with swim breaks at Shelly Bay?

What better way to see Bermuda from the top… gorgeous view. Hop on a small aircraft and enjoy the 45min flight. Check out Blue Sky Bermuda for this amazing experience. Our pilot Heather Nicholds was absolutely amazing.
Bermuda Islands 🏝️
#SummerVacation
In the summer of 2023, I visited Bermuda. This beautiful Atlantic island is famous for the Bermuda Triangle and its beautiful pink-sand beaches. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery, from the vibrant coral reefs to the colorful and vibrant homes of Hamilton. I explored and enjoyed the emerald seas throughout my trip.
I also made sure to sample the delicious local cuisine and enjoy jazz at a unique bar. My visit to Bermuda was an unforgettable experience, a blend of picturesque nature, history, and culture.
[Bermuda] Crystal Caves
Crystal & Fantasy Caves in Bermuda.
You can choose to visit either or both caves on a tour (in English).
I visited Crystal Caves.
A cheerful guide guided me through the caves, sharing stories of their discovery and their unique features. Since you'll be walking down a narrow passageway, I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. 👟
I was captivated by the crystal clear water and the mystical sight of the limestone caves.

I purchased a ticket at the counter on the day and was able to visit.
It was right after the bus stop, and there was a sign, so even my first time there was no problem finding my way. 🚌
