We kicked off this trip from downtown Chiang Mai in the morning, heading toward Mae Taeng. We made a quick pit stop at Mae Taeng Market at 9:00 AM to grab some fried pork before riding on to enjoy our meal in the shady, relaxing vibes of the Bo Kaeo Pine Tree Garden. From there, we crossed into Chiang Dao District, stopping for a coffee break with stunning mountain views at Ma Doo Doi Coffee, and then fueled up with a delicious lunch at Sompor, a local fish restaurant in the Mueang Ngai area. In the afternoon, we hit the road to Wat Doi Mae Pang to pay our respects and soak in the serene atmosphere of this temple, famously associated with the revered monk Luang Pu Waen Sucinno. Next, we rode on to Phrao District to check out the Giant Rain Tree in the middle of the water. It’s a gorgeous natural rest stop featuring a scenic reservoir, mountain backdrops, traditional local boats, and plenty of picture-perfect spots to unwind before heading back. At 4:00 PM, we started our ride back to Chiang Mai via Route 1001. This stretch of the journey was absolutely breathtaking, with both sides of the road lined with lush rice paddies, majestic mountains, and shaded tree canopies. The ride took about an hour and a half, and we safely arrived back in downtown Chiang Mai at 5:30 PM. It was the perfect one-day trip filled with great food, cozy cafes, historic temples, beautiful nature, and pure joy on the open road! 🏍️🌿 📝 Note: In the infographic under the "Wat Doi Mae Pang" section, the address listed was slightly off. The correct address is Mae Pang Sub-district, Phrao District, Chiang Mai Province. We apologize for the error and want to thank you all for your support! 🙏

🐘🌄 Experience the wild charm of Pai: Elephant Cap and Nam Lod Cave are your gateway to the region’s dramatic landscapes and hidden wonders. For nature lovers and photo-hunters alike, this journey offers grassy wetlands, karst landforms, and unforgettable encounters—like two adorable puppies waiting at the cave’s entrance in natural light! Begin your route with Elephant Cap: soak up panoramic views over Pai’s lush valleys and wetlands. Don’t miss the unique karst landforms for those real “Nature-Vision” photo ops—capture the sunrise or mist for scenery that pops. Next, head towards Nam Lod Cave, where you’ll be greeted by local wildlife (keep an eye out for elephants and those photogenic puppies!). Venture into the cave for its breathtaking chambers lit by natural daylight; bring a flashlight for the deeper sections and wear sturdy shoes, as the terrain is a bit slick, especially on cloudy and rainy days. Must-dos: · Hike around Elephant Cap for views and fresh air · Explore Nam Lod Cave’s dramatic interiors; join a local guided tour if you’re keen on learning about its history · Pause for puppy pics—nature’s cutest surprise! Photo Spots: · Elephant Cap’s summit (sunny panoramas and cloud layers) · Nam Lod’s entrance with the puppies and beautiful grassy wetland scenery · Inside the cave, with natural light beams (Nature-close-up magic) Visiting tips: · Visit early morning for quiet trails and cool weather · Raincoat recommended (umbrellas are tricky in the wind, and summer storms can roll in fast) · Prepare for variable weather: sunny, then suddenly rainy! Precautions: · Watch footing in Nam Lod Cave (slippery rocks!) · Respect wildlife—no feeding puppies or elephants #Pai #NatureVision #KarstLandforms #OutdoorAdventure #Thailand

📍 Doi Mae Tho, Bo Sali Subdistrict, Hot District, Chiang Mai Province 🚘 This trip almost made me cry. The drive was so far! 🥹 It took 3 hours, plus, from Chiang Mai city to Hot District. 👉🏻 Once we arrived, we had to transfer to a local bus. The fare is 500 baht round trip. 🌟 It only took 10 minutes to reach the first viewpoint. The route up is extremely difficult. ❌ The vehicle should be a 4WD vehicle. We don't recommend taking a private car up because the road is very steep and narrow, extremely dangerous. I must say, it's amazing, Nut. The view is breathtaking. ✅ The atmosphere is a 10/10. It's unbelievably cool up there, like you could touch the horizon. ☁️ Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to the second viewpoint. 👉🏻 The second viewpoint offers a 360-degree view of Doi Mae Tho. If you want to go, plan your time carefully! ‼️ They're currently not open to tourists, but you can wait. It's really great! 🫣💵 Service Fee: • Ban Mae Tho - Savannah: 500 baht/trip (round trip) • Ban Mae Tho - 360° Viewpoint: 1,000 baht/trip (round trip).⁉️Mae Tho is also perfect for a day trip. Or if you'd like to pitch a tent and sleep under the stars ⛺, please contact the village in advance. #reviewchiangmai #reviewchiangmai #wheretogo #traveladdict #travelchiangmai

There are many branches of Yum Poo Ma Chet Yot restaurant, but today we went to the branch in Hod district. This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The menu had a variety of dishes. We ordered raw crab salad, corn salad with salted eggs, mixed salad, pork bone soup, squid with lime, and sun-dried pork. There was also sticky rice, white rice, and rice vermicelli. Every dish was delicious and had a well-rounded flavor. We have to say that we will definitely visit again next time. #Yum Poo Ma Chet Yot #Visit Hod district #Chiang Mai attractions #Som Tam Hod #Hod restaurant #Visit Bo Luang #Bo Kaew pine forest #Doi Bo Luang forest park

Abroad, just around the corner .. not an exaggeration 😚 because the pine forest in Chiang Mai feels great, the atmosphere is great, it feels like being abroad, everyone. There are 2 pine forests in Chiang Mai. If you have a plan to travel nearby, choose to go there 🚘 Suan Son Bor Kaew Pine Forest is located in Hot District, Hot - Mae Sariang Road. The pine trees here are over 40 years old. It is always a popular check-in point for tourists. The highlight here is the long row of pine trees, beautiful, good atmosphere, romantic feel, so many people call it Pao, the Nami Island of Thailand. Mae Taeng Pine Forest (Two-leaf Pine Seed Production Garden) (Suan Son Mae Taeng) Mae Taeng Pine Forest is located in Mae Taeng on the road to Chiang Dao (not far from the city). It is a natural pine forest that grows Caribbean pine trees. This is a check-in point for tourists, no different from Bo Daew Pine Forest. However, the pine trees here may not be as numerous and not as tall as Bo Kaew Pine Forest. However, when compared to the travel and distance, Mae Taeng Pine Forest is more convenient and closer. For those who love content, nature, or are looking for a place to take pre-wedding photos, don't miss both of the pine forests that we recommend. The photos will come out with good lighting and a good feel. It's definitely awesome. 🥰 #tripfreeaccommodation #rainyseasontravel #mountaintravel #chiangmaitravel #trip #pineforest

The place we are going to is said to be very difficult to book. Some people couldn't book since last year. It's very difficult to get through by phone. We called 60 times (only by phone booking). We got a hotel accommodation. Stayed in August. This place is full all year round. Our travel plan starts at Chang Phueak Bus Station. Take a bus from Chiang Mai to Hot. Price 55 baht / trip. Travel time 2 hours and 30 minutes. The view along the way is cool and comfortable. When we arrive at Hot District, wait for a songthaew from Hot to Bo Luang (blue bus) or Kong Koi to Mae Sariang (yellow bus) price 70 baht. Travel another 40 km. Arrived at the accommodation, checked in at around 14:00. On the way back, we asked the songthaew driver before arriving at the forest park at what time (recommend asking for a phone number). Waited for the return car for almost 1 hour. Additional advice: There is a van from Prem Pracha Transport. Each trip costs 200 baht. You can book a round trip. Make an appointment with the driver. I wish everyone a happy trip. Traveling alone is not so bad. We just need to give ourselves time to live happily. #Chiang Mai travel #Travel alone #trip #Miss nature #Will take you to see the rainy season forest at Doi Bo Luang Forest Park
