Usable until your passport expires. 📍 Registration location Register at the "SES Smart Entry Service Registration Center" located after immigration procedures for foreigners. ✈️ My experience using it This time, after registering, I used the SES lane immediately and was able to collect my luggage in about 30 minutes from landing. I registered on a weekend around noon, but when I went at the same time on a weekday previously, both registration and the SES lane were closed. As a oneworld Sapphire member, I get complimentary access to this stylish and Instagram-famous lounge. The moment I step inside, I love the spacious modern design, comfortable seating areas, and premium atmosphere that makes it feel like a hotel lounge rather than an airport waiting area. The food selection is impressive with a wide variety of choices, plus there is a bar area offering beverages for travellers looking to unwind. One of my favourite features is the clean and comfortable bathroom and shower facilities, perfect for refreshing after a long journey. It's also that touristy expenive priced food and that wasn't what i was expecting but Incheon Chinatown looks fantastic in photos, so I expected a much bigger neighbourhood to explore. The red gates, lanterns and colourful buildings are fun to photograph, but once I started walking around, the main area felt surprisingly compact and very focused on restaurants and tourist shops. Unless you're coming specifically for jjajangmyeon, you can cover the central streets much faster than the photos online might suggest. I wouldn't say it's worth skipping completely. There is real history behind the neighbourhood, and the streets are lively and photogenic. I just wouldn't make Chinatown the main reason for coming to Incheon. I spent the night at South Korea's Incheon Airport Terminal 2 during a layover! Sharing the real scoop on what it's like inside the restricted area! · · 🌝 Sleep Spots 🌚 There’s a free area called the "Transfer Lounge"! It's super convenient, located right in the center of the concourse where all the gates line up. They have full-flat semi-private spots and rows of reclining chairs 💤. However, seats are limited, so it’s quite a scramble to get one. Even with dividers, you’re close to other people, so you need to be mindful of environmental factors like snoring ⚠️. · Most seats near the gates are empty, so it’s possible to lie down while keeping your distance from others! Also, there are wireless chargers (though they're a bit finicky) and USB ports, so you can charge your phone 🔋. The AC was blasting and it got pretty chilly, so I highly recommend bringing something warm! An eye mask (the lights stay on all night) and earplugs (cleaning carts drive around playing music quite loudly) are also must-haves for a comfortable rest 😪. · I only noticed these wide, sofa-bed-style seats near Gate 270 after the sun came up... But these are also very limited, with only one available for every 2 or 3 gates! · · 🌝 Shops 🌚 Most duty-free shops and cafes were closed during the night. However, convenience stores, the food court, and some eateries are open 24 hours! I saw a barista standing at the Starbucks that usually has long lines during the day, but there were zero customers! (I didn't get to ask if they were actually open for purchases). · Shops start opening around 6:00 AM as the early morning flight times approach, and the airport gradually gets busy again! · 🌝 Other Facilities 🌚 Restrooms are located everywhere, and there was no crowding at all! They were cleaned regularly and felt very sanitary. There’s plenty of space to brush your teeth as well 🪥. · I felt like there were more play areas for children compared to other airports!
