The garlic-flavored crayfish was incredibly fragrant, with plump and flavorful meat. The bullfrog with shrimp was generously portioned; the bullfrog was firm and bouncy, and the shrimp was fresh and delicious. The hawthorn and pineapple ribs were sweet and sour, refreshing and not at all greasy. The Jiangxi-style spicy duck feet, fried noodles, and buckwheat cakes were authentic Jiangxi flavors—the more you ate, the more addictive they became. The raw marinated crab claws were smooth and delicious, and the four-course cold dish was perfect for cutting through the richness. Finally, we had matcha and guava-flavored draft beer—perfect for a relaxed chat and a great atmosphere. The wide variety of hot dishes and snacks makes this a great place for a late-night gathering with friends!

Looking for a cool place in summer? Hongyan Wonderland is a perfect choice. This massive karst cave formed over a billion years ago maintains a constant temperature of just 18°C inside. It also features a Jingdezhen porcelain culture light and shadow show. Outside, there’s an ancient water stage, mountain stone forest, making it ideal for summer cooling, family outings, and short trips with friends. The self-driving trip from Changzhi is quite long. It’s recommended to take the high-speed train to Jingdezhen North Station, then take a taxi or the direct shuttle to the scenic area. Parking is free and ample at the site. Buying tickets online in advance is more cost-effective. Students and seniors aged 60–64 get half-price tickets. Seniors 65 and older and children under 1.2 meters enter free. The cave entrance is on the mountain, so climbing is strenuous. It’s best to buy the sightseeing bus ticket to save energy. Here’s a streamlined route without backtracking: pick up your wristband at the visitor center → sightseeing bus to the cave’s South Gate → underground porcelain world cave → Jiutian waterfall → Sky pillar → Immortal’s calcium pool → back mountain stone forest → water stage for photos → exit the park.
