From Copenhagen, we took the train across the Øresund Bridge to Lund. We explored the old town, visited Lund Cathedral, and strolled along the small streets in a relaxed manner. Lund is a small city, easy to walk around, with lots of old buildings and charming little spots. 📸 After exploring Lund, we took the train to Malmö and stopped to explore the city a bit more. Before going to Sweden, the biggest dilemma was accommodation. After all, prices are not cheap, and I was afraid of spending money but not being comfortable. This time, I personally tested four hotels in different cities, from the city center to the Arctic Circle wilderness. Each one exceeded expectations. Choosing the right accommodation really doubles the happiness of the entire trip! · -- 🧥 Ultimate Winter Travel Warmth Guide 🧥 Base layer: Quick-dry thermal underwear, be sure to choose wool; you won’t feel cold even when sweating. Pure cotton gets wet and freezes you. 🧥 Mid layer: Fleece or thin down jacket, easy to put on and take off. Indoor heating is strong, add it when it’s cold outside. 🧥 Outer layer: Windproof and waterproof shell jacket or thick down coat, must be long to cover your hips because the wind is really strong. 🧥 Bottoms: Fleece-lined thermal pants + waterproof ski pants, no fear of getting wet rolling in the snow. 🧥 Accessories: Fleece hat (covering ears), scarf, touchscreen gloves (no need to take off for photos), snow boots (non-slip and waterproof). 🧥 Magic item: Stick a heat pack on the back of your phone. The Kulturen open-air museum features replicas of buildings from medieval times to the 20th century. The Lund University Historical Museum displays archaeological relics from the Stone and Bronze ages, plus a large coin collection. A great day out if you are in Malmo.

📅 Itinerary Day 1: Copenhagen to Malmö by bus, we started in the evening and arrived near the train station, then walked to the Moment hotel, a lovely hotel in Gamla staden, and accidentally we found a Malmö festival with a huge variety of food from many countries especially from Africa…that’s amazing right? Moreover, we’ve tried Afghan foods…which is soooo so good 👍…not only the foods..it had a big concert with a pop stars, rock stars, dancing competition and a super big area of amusement park rides 🤩🤩🤩 can’t believe it…it wasn't in my plan…we walked around until 1 am and then back to the hotel that very closed to the festival..just on front of the door!!!! 😳😳🚀🚀 Day2: We had a really nice and homemade breakfast at the Moment hotel (recommended the ginger with lemon 🍋 juice with a good weather around 15-20 degrees Celsius, after by a hot coffee and cookies 🍪 until 11 am, soon…it’s time to check out 😆 we walked to the city and headed to the building: The Turning Torso, that’s a high architectural design…and closed the the beach 😎 we stayed they for more than 2 hours to get the sun and breathing of the sea 🌊 then we walked to the train station and heading to the small house in Lund.
