This four-star hotel, located near MDC airport, is owned by a prominent local energy distribution company. Designed with a resort style, it enjoys a great position close to the airport, a mall, a golf course, and an exclusive area. The rooms, while comfortable for their time, feature an additional split AC unit alongside central air conditioning (with the outdoor unit’s water occasionally making the back door wet). Amenities include a sofa, an aging LCD TV upgraded with a satellite receiver, a water dispenser for hot drinking water, and no refrigerator. The clean shower room and ground-floor rooms offer a rear terrace with a golf view. Hospitality standards are decent, and the room rates are reasonable. The swimming pool has a nice view of the driving range, and parking is spacious. With the hotel undergoing major renovation, there’s hope for the restoration of its glory days.
