Watching the planes take off and land while sipping coffee really gets you in the mood for your trip. And the coffee was even better than I expected! They use local beans, so I was pleased with the authentic flavor. The freshly baked bread I ordered with it also had a homemade feel, was fresh, and delicious. There was a wide variety, so it was fun to choose. They open early in the morning, so I'm really grateful that I can get a hot coffee and a snack even on an early flight. The atmosphere is great for an airport cafe, and I think it's a valuable oasis where you can relax before departure!"

Located about a 30-minute walk from the city center, the pleasant weather made the journey enjoyable. The park features well-preserved old buildings and vehicles. Riding the operational train was a highlight. This small park recreates the old town of Nelson. The receptionist was very kind and provided detailed explanations about the map and facilities. Inside the park, there are shops and restaurants, and some visitors were walking their dogs. The charming buildings, cars, and even a real airplane make this park highly recommended for learning about the history of Nelson.

You can get a panoramic view of Nelson city and the ocean, and looking back, the vast mountains are beautiful. It's not a particularly steep hill, and it takes less than 20 minutes to reach the summit, so many people choose to hike up as part of their walk.
