Only after having kids do you realize that quietly enjoying a cup of tea is the ultimate luxury. When I first saw Mang Mang’s Little Garden, I hesitated. They clearly state it’s for full-day care for kids over 3 years old, and my Colin is still a month shy of 2, definitely going to cling to me the whole time. But I really needed a breather, so I went with the mindset of "at worst, I’ll just tag along all afternoon." In the end, I was genuinely surprised ❤️ 📍Navigation: Mang Mang’s Little Garden (No. 301, Group 4, Ziyun Village, Pidu District) 🚗Drive time: Exactly 1 hour from downtown Chengdu, no traffic jams The whole atmosphere is free from the noise and commercialization of other camps, like stepping into a private garden carefully tended by a close friend. Watching the older kids line up to do crafts and play games, I was ready to tag along all afternoon. Unexpectedly, my little guy became the most popular “little shadow” in the whole place 🤣 When the older kids were molding clay, he copied them perfectly, happily handing out materials. When the teacher led games, he laughed and ran around joyfully. He was so busy he barely touched the ground 💦 water guns, sand, slides, climbing nets, swings, rocking horses—he tried them all. I was worried he was too young and wouldn’t fit in, but I followed behind without interfering; the teachers interacted with them the whole time. I just occasionally snapped some photos. “It’s not that kids can’t live without us, it’s that we can’t live without kids.” Today, I truly felt this 💛 🍱About the food: Honestly, it’s just home-style farmhouse level, so don’t expect too much, but it’s fresh and plentiful. Lunch includes charcoal-grilled meat, stir-fried dishes, and cold dishes, with unlimited egg fried rice and porridge. Kids’ favorites like popcorn chicken, egg tarts, and fries are unlimited, plus several kinds of fresh juice and fruit, all self-serve. Adults leisurely eat and chat while the kids are happily led by teachers nearby. Seeing parents of kids over 3 completely let go, I’m already looking forward to the day Colin can stay full-time next year. Though Colin still has to wait a year to be fully free, today’s trip was worth every penny. Ladies, rush here for Dragon Boat Festival‼️‼️

This year’s Spring Festival atmosphere in Chengdu was all gathered by me in this temple fair full of lights! 💫 Until March 3rd, this place is a lively and bustling New Year’s wonderland. 📸 Photo tips to copy directly The temple fair’s decorations are thoughtfully arranged, with giant lantern arrays, intangible cultural heritage iron flower shows, Sichuan opera face-changing stages… every corner is filled with the New Year vibe. It’s recommended to wear light-colored or red new-style Chinese clothing. The soft night lighting makes the original photos full of atmosphere. When I stood under the lanterns to take pictures, it felt like traveling back to the Spring Festival of my childhood, and that festive joy hit straight to my heart. 🎆 More than just photos, it’s an immersive New Year experience Besides taking photos, the New Year atmosphere here is dynamic—the drum performances are magnificent, the intangible cultural heritage iron flower show lights up the sky brilliantly, and the interactive Sichuan opera face-changing is fun… I stayed from afternoon till night, walking and watching all along, as if I “played” through the traditional New Year. ✨ Personal experience and warm tips Metro Line 6 goes directly here, very convenient. I recommend coming before dusk to capture the lantern light and shadow during the blue hour, and also to experience the stunning moment when the entire sea of lights suddenly illuminates after dark. Remember to bring a relaxed heart, stroll slowly, and take your time shooting. Your 2026 New Year photos and memories might just be collected here. This place is not just a photo spot, but a warm city filled with the New Year’s flavor. If you’re celebrating the New Year in Chengdu, why not come here to rediscover the friendly lights and the taste of reunion during the Spring Festival.

Tangchang Ancient Town, plum blossoms are in full bloom🌸||On the weekend, I went to the lesser-known Tangchang Ancient Town in Pidu. Tangchang has a history of more than 1,300 years and is known as "Tangchang for a day, Chongning for a thousand years." There are many preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as mansions and courtyards. The old streets and alleys are not overly commercialized. Residents live in the ancient town, full of the atmosphere of daily life. It is truly a hidden gem and low-key ancient town. The red plum blossoms on the ancient street are in full bloom. Strolling through the ancient alleys, the gray tiles and red plum blossoms complement each other. The old streets and ancient buildings of Tangchang are mainly near Chongning Confucian Temple, which consists of Confucian Temple, Dachun Alley, Wenchang Palace Alley, Meihuajing, and Southwest Horse Road. 🏕Citywalk route: Confucian Temple - Caoshi - Chongning Park - Dachun Alley - Southwest Horse Road (ancient city wall) - Wenchang Palace - Meihuajing - Maibu Alley Attractions 1️⃣Dachun Alley/Maibu Alley/Meihuajing: Here you can experience the simple and vibrant city life. At the corners of the old streets and beside the mottled walls, the red plum blossoms are in full bloom. 2️⃣Chongning Park: Known as "Tangchang's Little Jiangnan," the park is filled with small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and towers, exuding the charm of Jiangnan water towns. 3️⃣Chongning Confucian Temple: It has the only existing Hanlin Academy in western Sichuan. 4️⃣Wenchang Palace Alley: This is a great place to experience the history of the ancient town. 5️⃣Southwest Horse Road: You can climb the ancient city wall along the horse road to take a look.

Surrounded by lush trees, the air is filled with the fresh scent of wood. The cabin has 24-hour hot water and a nutritious breakfast. The goodnight soup is also a nice touch. Pizza Hut 🍔 I finally tried the much-hyped Pizza Hut burger! I love this tree tree burger! It's on my list of delicious foods 🧾 The burger bun is freshly baked, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I personally love this texture! The chicken inside is also very tender! The secret chicken leg burger is a classic with salad dressing, delicious 😋 The spicy one has a slightly spicy marinade, both flavors are different, but you can try both! I prefer the secret chicken leg burger 🍗 N Duo Jiang Sushi 🍱 📲 Reserve and pick up at the west gate Salted egg yolk cheese roll and ham roll with pork floss ~ I prefer the classic flavor because it has crispy cucumber shreds inside, haha, I love cucumbers! 🥒 Po Dian Lan Ti Hua'er 🐷 Opposite Longcheng Hongguangli (Hongguang Store) A very affordable set meal for two! A portion of pig's trotters, very soft, and two dishes to choose from. I chose cold chicken slices, green pepper preserved egg, and vegetarian dishes 🫑 Bao Zou BBQ 🍢 West Gate I love grilled chicken wings, grilled eggplant, grilled gluten, and grilled pork belly. Their outer skin is grilled crispy, very magical 🍆 Garlic grilled eggplant is really yummy Pang Ge Lia Meat Crab Pot 👬 Longfor Times Paradise Walk Very soft and glutinous meat crab pot, with a sweet and spicy sauce, delicious, but I don't recommend the pig's trotter pot because it's too greasy, I prefer the shrimp pot and chicken wings 🥹 I still love chicken feet ~ Chicken feet are the best! Domino's Pizza 🍕 Longfor Times Paradise Walk Lobster crispy tender chicken char siu crust 🦞 I feel that the double-layer thick crust I had before was richer in taste, the char siu crust is not so obvious ~ Next time I want to try some online recommended flavors! Fu Ji Home Cooking 🫕 Side Gate Overall, the taste is okay, I've been there several times. But the mapo tofu was not as amazing as the first time I had it 🥹 The twice-cooked pork is still second-cut meat, not pork belly, but the taste is not bad 🥹 The garlic white meat is different from what I used to eat, it used to be mixed with red oil, but here it's mixed with chili with a strong millet spicy flavor, sour and spicy 🌶️ Tastin Chinese Burger 🍟 Tastin! I went with friends to try the new chicken and shrimp double burger 🍤 The sauce is sweet and spicy, with a bit of a Thai feel? Not sure, let's see ~ Two friends thought it was delicious, one friend thought it was average, preferred the classic salad dressing, the host is neutral 🐰 (because the host is a very indecisive person) Niu Ji Yunnan Gastrodia Ham Chicken 🍲 West Gate Delicious and tasty, I love chicken soup! In winter ❄️ a warm pot of gastrodia ham chicken is really great, warm, with friends, watching the pot bubbling with steam, very warm, very healing,

As I stepped into the Bamboo Bay Resort, the still waters gently rippled, with the light waves sparkling and the beautiful glow shining brightly, as if I had entered a dreamlike world. Walking along the winding path, what caught my eye was the serene and gently rippling river. The river, like a green ribbon, flowed slowly, occasionally stirring up ripples that twinkled charmingly under the sunlight. Standing by the river, feeling the gentle caress of the breeze, and listening to the murmuring flow of the water, my heart also quieted down. The riverside is lined with bamboo forests, verdant and tall, swaying with the wind, making a rustling sound. Strolling through the bamboo forest, the fresh air hits the face, making one feel extremely comfortable. The sunlight filters through the gaps in the bamboo leaves, creating a mottled pattern of light and shadow, like beautiful paintings drawn by nature. And the food is a feast for the taste buds. The exquisite dishes, with their perfect combination of color, aroma, and taste, each seem like a work of art. Whether it's the local specialties or the creative new dishes, they are all memorable. After tasting the food, I went to the riverside private room to enjoy some tea, brewing a pot of fragrant tea. Surrounded by the aroma of tea, looking at the beautiful scenery outside the window, feeling the tranquility and leisure, it seems as if time also stops at this moment. Here, leisure is the eternal theme. You can find a quiet corner, lie on a comfortable lounge chair, close your eyes, and let your body and mind completely relax; or you can stroll along the river, enjoying the surrounding natural scenery. There is no noise and bustle of the city, only endless peace and tranquility. Bamboo Bay Resort is like a paradise hidden in the bustling city, allowing me to luxuriate in this tranquil haven. The serene and gently rippling water, the swaying bamboo, the tempting aroma of the food, the leisurely enjoyment of tea, and the thick atmosphere of leisure, are all deeply imprinted in my heart, becoming beautiful memories that I cannot forget. I look forward to returning to this charming place again, to continue enjoying this unique tranquility and beauty.

#timetotravel If you want to have fun and just want to try golfing in Chengdu then you can go to this place. We played a 9 hole par three course for about 90 minutes and it was fantatstic. My friends and I totally enjoyed it. The place is wwell maintained and we were provided clubs however you can bring your own club if you have one to reduce the expenses here. It isn't the cheapest place but it is all about what makes you happy at the end of a long week of working right? You gotta still treat yourself in a way that you will enjoy. So if golfing float your boat then go and have fun. Address: Xipu Hi-tech West Area Baicao Road No.1111, Pidu Name: Boya Sports Club #weekend #mytripvlog #tripblazers #chengdu #chinatravel #sichuan

The delicious and fun Chengdu Sichuan Restaurant, don't miss it! ! ! ! I have been to Chengdu many times, I dont know that Chengdu can still learn Sichuan cuisine! Although I am also a cook, I am going to follow the authentic Sichuan cuisine chef to learn more, which will make my cooking more refined! Not only can you learn Sichuan cuisine, but you can also taste all kinds of snacks in Chengdu in an unlimited amount. The authentic snacks such as bell dumplings, chicken noodles, glutinous rice balls, and chicken soup are easy to stop! The Sichuan Restaurant is located in the county of Chengdu, a little farther from the city. Friends who want to go can book a day trip on Trip! Of course, you can also drive by car!
