After exploring the gardens some more, we went on a couple of rides. The first was the ferris wheel! Who doesn't love a good ferris wheel? Feeling like you're in a flying bubble, able to see the great views from the sky!🎡 We then went on the even more thrilling swing chairs! The speed and height of the ride makes you feel like you're flying! It's amazing!😄 We got a little thirsty so mummy bought a like flavoured snow cone for each of us. It was really good and refreshing 🍋🟩🍧 We went back to the pile of snow to play in again for a little while before going tobogganing! That was a thrill too! You sit on a cushiony ring and they tell you when to go! Took a day trip tour to Hunter Valley. The best tour guide Sam drove us from Sydney central. The ride was 2 hours. Once at the farm we got to go to 2 wine tasting sampling. Each time we had around 8 glasses. This tour comes with lunch. Love how the farm feel. So peaceful. Best time of they year to visit in Dec - Jan Where the vineyards will be filled to the brim with bunches of grapes. Visited Hunters Dream. Getting There - head north from Sydney on the Pacific Highway following the signs for Wine Country. Address - 1616 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320 Ambiance/Facilities - This cellar door style location has a wonderful cheese shop as well as a great cafe. Highlights - the cheese shop offers tastings and gelato while the cafe offers ala carte options for a light bite through to a full meal. Wine or Beer matching also available. But the star of the show here is the wonderful High Cheese offerings. Similar to a traditional high tea but focusing on the various types of cheeses offered by the Dairy. Avg. About 2 hours north of Sydney in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Hope Estate is more than just your usual cellar door. Address - 2213 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320 Getting There - self drive the M1 from Sydney and follow the Wine Country signs. There are also a lot of tour operators that will do the drive for you. Attractions - Winery, brewery and distillery all in one. Hope estate offers generous tasting options of their homegrown wine and paddles of their own beers and gin/vodka. Hotels - We stayed at the nearby Mercure Hunter Valley but there are lots of options in Pokolbin and beyond. Food & Restaurants - Hope Estate of a small and simple menu but the pizzas were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot while tasting. A perfectly peaceful breakfast whilst staying at Chateau Elan in the Hunter Valley. We sat looking out on the gorgeous golf course, the morning was a little chilly so the staff gave us a heater to stay warm. Order the smashed avocado you won’t regret it. #tripaway#triplocal

Traveling to Sydney, in addition to local landmarks, must not be missed is a tour around Sydney. The Hunter Valley, which is more than two hours' drive from Sydney's downtown area, must be experienced. It is a famous wine region and is arguably the best wine in Australia. It is very famous. The chateau elan is a good location to visit the wineries plus the are many restaurant nearby. we had a great wine tasting experience at Tyrell which you should go.. they charge Aud15 per person. Mezze is a restaurant near the hotel, we had breakfast there.EXP is another restaurant which is good to visit. they have set dinners with 12 courses. need advance booking. another good place for lunch is Enzo, do try they're prawn pasta you get to see lots of wild kangaroo in this area

G, the manager, was incredibly knowledgeable and spent the whole time guiding us through the wines and sharing the history behind them. Pick up at 2:40 am, arrive Hunter Valley around 4:30 am. Check-in & briefing... We were drived for the place in 10 min...We are driving under DARKNESS! Then, it suddenly bright up as dawn comes. We wait for the technician to blow up the balloon... Finally 10 of us, in 2 compartments were in the basket of Balloon... We rise up gradually... I am scared of heights BUT I didn't fear for the whole course... Very great experience... We then have breakfast and get back to car by 9 am,; We then arrived the pick-up place by 11am !! First 3,800 metres, then 5,000 metres...but it seems not really high...

Another absolute favourite group of lights displayed were the ones that looked like sweets! They had cakes, candy you name it! And we did find them to be a little appetizing!🍭 So mummy took us to the food area where she bought us a delicious waffle on a stick with Belgian chocolate and M&Ms. The waffle was very yummy! We weren't big fans of the waffle being coated with extra sugar, that's the only negative but other than that? It's hard to get over the beautiful light displays. We saw colourful plants, flowers and hot-air balloons! In addition to that, we actually saw a Christmas ambulance! The cross was like a ribbon on a present box!🎁 There were some beautiful archways, star displays and interesting light displays that look like jellyfish!🌟 There were more lights in the food area, where there was a beautiful little castle. Mummy took us in there and it was out of this world!
