Y’all, buckle up—ANA just dropped an INSANE promo return fare from Kuala Lumpur to Hokkaido for only RM 2,441 all-in! 🤯 Nope, that’s not a typo—this price is *totally* legit for prime winter travel in January 2027. Need proof? Peep these sample dates: 26 January to 3 February 2027. If Hokkaido’s legendary snow is on your bucket list (think powdery ski slopes, magical winter festivals, and Insta-worthy snow vibes), this is THE golden ticket. We’re talking flying in style with a world-class 5-star airline! Why is this deal literally wild? January in northern Japan is like the Super Bowl for snow lovers and holidaymakers—regular tickets to Sapporo are easily RM 3,500–4,500+ during snow season. Even budget airlines will drain your wallet with RM 2,500+ fares (and you’ll pay extra for meals and all your heavy snow gear). But ANA? They’re spoiling us with five-star comfort for under RM 2.5k. That’s a travel flex your squad will flip over. Now, here’s the flex: ANA dishes out a FULL-SERVICE baggage package that’s next level. Every passenger scores 2 x 23kg checked bags—hello, 46kg of packing power! 😂 Compare that to budget airlines’ “baggage optional” (and wallet-draining) policy? Zero stress here. Pack ALL your puffy snow boots, chunky coats, thermal gear and shop your heart out—NO extra fees at the airport. Onboard, get ready to feast on gourmet meals, binge endless entertainment, and ride in comfort through Tokyo’s sleek Haneda or Narita airports on the stunning Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Flying in style? That’s an understatement. Hot tip: These crazy-low January snow fares are mega limited and WILL sell out in a blink. Grab your mates, smash that booking button, and lock in your Hokkaido winter adventure before these unicorn fares disappear! Just head to Trip.com and you’re set for the ultimate snowy escape. 🏂❄️✨ #japan #hokkaido #sapporo #travel2027 #cheapflightdeals #budgettravel #skiing #otaru #traveljapan #japantravel #japanwinter

One of the funniest stops on our Hokkaido trip! 🐻🇯🇵 We visited Showa-Shinzan Bear Park, where you can see Hokkaido brown bears surprisingly close up. I expected big, fierce bears… but instead we got bears sitting like humans, waving their paws and patiently waiting for snacks. 😂 Besides the bears, there are also some cute photo spots around the park, including the bright red Bear Shrine ⛩️. It’s not a huge attraction, so you don’t need to spend half a day here. I’d recommend it as a fun short stop if you’re already exploring the Lake Toya / Showa-Shinzan area. 📍 Showa-Shinzan Bear Park, Hokkaido 🐻 See Hokkaido brown bears up close 📸 Cute & funny photo opportunities ⏰ Around 45–60 minutes is enough for most visitors Highlight: Definitely the bears casually sitting there like they own the place. 😂 #Hokkaido #ShowaShinzan #BearPark #HokkaidoTravel #JapanTravel #LakeToya #JapanTrip #TripMoments

Taking the kids to Hokkaido was truly the best decision we've ever made! The moment we landed, the kids were stunned and said, "Mom, have we come to the world of Frozen?" Thick powder snow, steaming hot springs, adorable penguins strolling, delicious Sapporo ramen—this 7-day, 6-night snow country trip was truly as beautiful as a fairy tale. The kids said this was the most fun place they've ever been and that they could talk about it forever. ❄️ The snow in Sapporo is incredibly healing On the first day, we leisurely strolled around downtown Sapporo. The Snow Festival at Odori Park was absolutely stunning, with huge snow and ice sculptures that looked magical when lit up at night. The kids rolled in the snow, built snowmen, and had snowball fights, getting their hair wet but refusing to go back to the hotel. Shiroi Koibito Park is a must-visit, perfect for families! You can tour the chocolate factory, watch the entire chocolate-making process, and even make cookies by hand. The kids made a heart-shaped cookie and said they wanted to bring it home to grandma. You can climb the Sapporo TV Tower for a panoramic view; the whole city covered in white snow is especially beautiful. Downstairs, Tanukikoji Shopping Street offers plenty of places to eat and shop, including drugstores, snack shops, and restaurants. You must try the melon ice cream—super sweet and rich. The kids ate two and wanted more. Don’t miss Sapporo ramen either; the miso broth is rich, and the chashu pork is tender. One bowl warms you up completely. · -- 🐧 Asahiyama Zoo is so adorable We specifically set aside a day to visit Asahiyama Zoo just to see the penguin parade! It was incredibly cute—little penguins waddling right past you, so close the kids could almost touch them. Besides penguins, there are polar bears, seals, and red pandas, all very cute. The zoo is well designed for close-up viewing, and the kids were very excited, constantly saying how adorable everything was. The penguin parade happens twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., so be sure to arrive early to get a good spot; otherwise, it’s too crowded to see. You can have lunch at Ramen Village right outside the zoo, which has 8 ramen shops famous throughout Hokkaido. Any choice is delicious. We had miso ramen, and the broth was so rich we drank it all. · -- 🚂 The romance of Otaru is unmatched Otaru is perfect for photography! Snow by the canal, vintage gas lamps, European-style buildings—every shot looks like a masterpiece. The kids threw snowballs and laughed by the canal, and every photo turned out great. The Music Box Museum is a must-visit, with all kinds of music boxes. When the music plays, it’s especially romantic. The kids picked a little train music box and loved it. The glassware at Kitaichi Glass is stunning, and you can try glassblowing. The kids made a small cup, which was a bit crooked but very meaningful. Don’t miss the sweets at Rokkatei—strawberry chocolate sandwich cookies are delicious, and we bought many as souvenirs. LeTAO’s cheesecake is also a must-try, melting in your mouth with a rich milky flavor. · -- ♨️ Noboribetsu Onsen is so relaxing We spent the last two days soaking in Noboribetsu’s hot springs, which was incredibly refreshing. The scenery at Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is breathtaking, with steaming volcanic craters and a strong sulfur smell, making you feel like you’ve entered another world. At the Bear Park, you can feed the bears; the big bears wave their paws for food and are very smart. The kids had a great time feeding them. Soaking in the outdoor hot springs at night while watching snowflakes fall is a truly magical experience. You must try the onsen eggs—the whites are tender, and the yolks are half-runny, especially delicious dipped in soy sauce. The hotel’s kaiseki meals are exquisite, featuring seafood, wagyu beef, and sushi, each dish very tasty. Taking kids to Hokkaido means no rushing itinerary—just playing in the snow, soaking in hot springs, and enjoying delicious food at a relaxed pace. We’ll definitely come back next winter; it’s just too beautiful. One thing that needs a lot of planning when you do self driving road trips in Hokkaido is which route you should take and how much the ETC costs. Taking toll roads can be very expensive in Hokkaido and thus, if you choose to take many toll roads during your trip, it would more cost effective if you buy the HEP Hokkaido Expressway Pass instead. For us, during our 8 days self drive trip, I used ChatGPT’s help to calculate the tolls and surprisingly, as we didn’t take many toll roads and also that some toll roads take the same time you will need to take if you use general roads and thus, there is no need to take toll roads to save up the money for another sushi feast. Below is the driving route we took during our trip: Day1 : Arrival & Furano · Arrive at New Chitose Airport (~13:40) · Pick up rental car · Route: Enter Chitose-higashi IC → Exit Shimukappu IC · Stop: Shizentaikan Shimukappu Roadside Station → Drive Route 237 to La Vista Furano Hills Hotel · ETC Toll: ·1,330 Day2 : Explore Furano · Explore flower fields and farms (e.g., Farm Tomita, shikisai no oka) · Local driving only · ETC Toll: ·0 Day3 : Furano → Tomamu · Drive from Furano to Tomamu The Tower by Hoshino Resorts · Use local roads only · ETC Toll: ·0 Day4 : Tomamu → Otaru (with stops) Part 1: Tomamu → Abira d51 rest stop → Mitsui Outlet Park · Enter Tomamu IC → Stop at Abira D51 (no exit) → Exit Kitahiroshima IC · ETC Toll: ~*2,800 Part 2: Hill of the Buddha → Otaru · Enter Sapporo-nishi IC → Exit Otaru IC · Hotel: Unwind Hotel & Bar Otaru · ETC Toll: ·400 Day5 : Otaru - Lake Toya · Use local roads to Lake Toya · Hotel: The Lake Suite Ko No Sumika · ETC Toll: ·0 Day6 : Lake Toya → Hakodate · use local general road · Hotel: Tokyu Stay Hakodate · ETC Toll: *0 (if using local roads) Day7/8 : Explore Hakodate · Visit: Mt. Hakodate, Morning Market, Red Brick Warehouses, Goryokaku Park · Local driving only · ETC Toll: ·0 Summary: ETC Toll Breakdown 1,330+ 2,800 + 400 Total ETC Toll: ~$4,530 v • No HEP needed — ETC-only is cheaper than 4-day HEP (·7,700) We did not get HEP as paying through ETC is cheaper than getting the pass and therefore, do enough research before your trip to save you some money! #japan #hokkaido #furano #tomamu #otaru #hakodate#laketoya #couplestrip

Initially hesitant to go to Noboribetsu or Lake Toya, I did not regret choosing Lake Nosu🫢 Both the food quality and service are very good 👍🏼 In-room or large bath hot spring is also great! This time I chose the one-night-two-dining plan. This hotel booking is quite Full, it is best to book one to two months in advance! food Hotel Plan is to choose kaiseki cuisine or Buffet, but I booked the website does not write what to eat for dinner, so it is recommended to book on the Japanese hotel website, so you can clearly see exactly what to eat for dinner, the website also regularly have coupons, can reduce the hotel cost! The dinner Buffet of the day is semi-buffet form, enter there is crab meat sashimi, fish pot to eat! The Buffet has a lot of cooked food eg. Each of the sashimi was fresh, and the longleg crab was quite fresh and sweet! In-room facilities Each room in the hotel has an indoor open-air hot spring♨️, with a view of Mount Sheep Hoof, which is very relaxing. The most special thing is that the ground floor in the room is equipped with heating, so that the floor is kept warm, very courteous! Hotel Facilities The hotel also has an open-air hot spring with a ceiling. Lake Nosu is connected to the Sun Spa Hotel, where you can enjoy the facilities. The Sun Spa Hotel has a water park and a hot spring, but the guests of the hotel are not able to access the facilities of the lake. Attractions at Lake Toya There is a lighted promenade near the Toyako Onsen area, about 10 minutes walk from Lake Toya Hotel! It's perfect for taking photos and checking in. Along the way, I also saw an outdoor free foot bath, which is quite chill😍 Free shuttle bus from the hotel (Habitat of Lake Zaju) Just Sd email to the hotel before check-in to make a reservation! Already saved almost 6000yen in one trip! Since my trip started from Hakodate, I only booked a left bus on the return trip, note that there is only one 9:45am bus on the return trip. I took the bus to the hotel by myself at Lake Toya on my way there. #Japanhotel #Lake nosu #Lake Toya Hot Spring #hot spring hotel

A relatively new luxury resort in recent years, although it is not located near the Lake Toya shopping street, it only takes a six-minute drive to get there. The rooms offer views of Lake Toya and Mount Yotei. The service and atmosphere here are fantastic, giving off a truly luxurious vibe. The lobby is grand and features a large fireplace, with the wonderful scent of wood fire. It must feel warm during winter. There's also a small cabin where events like concerts are held, which is a delightful touch.

The 2025 ⏰ is here! On September 2nd, Japan Meteorological Corporation released its first autumn foliage forecast. Surprisingly, this year’s foliage season is expected to be quite late, especially in areas like Sapporo and Nagano, where the peak viewing period may be over 10 days later than usual. Kyoto, Kochi, and Fukuoka are also predicted to be 7 days later than last year. However, this doesn’t change the fact that Japan’s earliest autumn foliage will still be in Hokkaido and the Tohoku region. ‼️ To ensure a smooth trip and avoid visiting during the transition period between green and red leaves, I’ve compiled a list of recommended dates, iconic foliage spots, and itinerary plans for popular autumn foliage destinations. For those who don’t want to plan everything themselves, feel free to use this as a reference! 1️⃣ Japan’s Earliest Foliage|Hokkaido ⏰ Best Viewing Period: October 10th–25th ✅ Late September: Daisetsuzan Kurodake Ropeway (waterfall, open-air hot springs, hot pot) ✅ Mid to late October: Jozankei (open-air baths + autumn foliage) ✈️ 6-Day Itinerary: Day 1: New Chitose International Airport → Lake Toya Day 2: Lake Toya → Showa Shinzan Bear Ranch → Mount Usu Volcano Day 3: Lake Toya → Otaru → Jozankei Hot Springs Day 4: Jozankei → Sapporo Lake Day 5: Around Sapporo Day 6: Return 2️⃣ Kanto|Tokyo, Mount Fuji ⏰ Best Viewing Period: November 25th–December 10th ✅ Mid-November to early December: Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Corridor ✅ Late November: Shinjuku Gyoen / Rikugien Garden ✈️ 7-Day Itinerary: Day 1: Narita Airport → Rikugien Garden Night Foliage Day 2: Nikko → Lake Chuzenji → Kegon Falls → Kinugawa Hot Springs Day 3: Shinkyo Bridge → Nikko Toshogu Shrine → Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura Day 4: Kawaguchiko Autumn Leaves Corridor → Mount Fuji Hot Springs Day 5: Music Box Forest Museum → Lake Ashi Pirate Ship Day 6: Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue → Shinjuku Shopping District → Tokyo Tower Day 7: Return 3️⃣ Kansai|Kyoto, Osaka ⏰ Best Viewing Period: November 28th–December 8th ✅ Late November to early December: Kyoto Arashiyama / Eikando Temple (famous night foliage) ✅ Mid to late November: Kifune Shrine Autumn Foliage Lantern Festival ✈️ 7-Day Itinerary: Day 1: Kansai Airport → Kyoto → Kiyomizu Temple Day 2: Eikando Zenrinji Temple → Train Autumn Foliage Tunnel → Kifune Shrine Lantern Festival Day 3: Arashiyama → Hozugawa River Cruise → Arima Hot Springs Day 4: Nunobiki Herb Garden → Kobe Port → Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori Day 5: Universal Studios Japan (full day) Day 6: Nara Park → Mount Wakakusa → Umeda Sky Building Night View Day 7: Return Included Services: · Airport pick-up and drop-off + transportation throughout the trip (7-seater or 10-seater business vehicles) · Local Chinese-speaking guide for professional service and seamless communication · 1-on-1 professional travel planner to customize your itinerary · Formal contract signing for peace of mind, with platform guarantees for safe travel · Online concierge available before and during your trip to answer any questions This is Bu’er Travel’s Japan Full-Custom Tours We offer personalized Kansai trips tailored to your needs Comprehensive services, private transportation Just provide your "group size + travel dates," and we’ll design a journey just for you!

I go on a free trip to Japan every year. Although free travel is free and convenient, transportation to some attractions is more troublesome, and I don’t dare to drive on the snow. This time I also bought a one-day itinerary with Tirp. The tour guides are all Chinese who have lived in Japan for a long time. They don’t go to duty-free shops or shopping throughout the trip. They just walk around the attractions and take pictures. Although the stay at the attractions is not very long, the transportation alone can save most of the time. Next time I go abroad, I will still choose to buy a one-day or two-day itinerary with Tirp. I really recommend everyone to travel to Hokkaido in winter. The experience is full. There are really a lot of tourists from all over the world. Whether it is a department store in the city or a popular attraction, there will be a lot of people. You have to queue up to buy things or get a tax refund, so be prepared. The above recommendations are for your reference. I wish you all a happy and enjoyable journey👍

The best place to view the full panorama of Lake Toya is not from the lakeside, but from a higher vantage point. From the expansive heights of the Silo Observatory, you can take in the entire view of Lake Toya and Mount Usu! Shikotsu Toya National Park Silo Observation Deck is more conveniently reached by car, as it is a 20-minute drive from the Lake Toya hot spring area. The observation deck is free of charge and features a large Toya landmark for photo opportunities, which looks quite beautiful. The Lake Toya Observation Deck also offers another way to enjoy the view: by taking a helicopter ride over the lake! Just imagining it is cool, though it's not cheap, so we didn't try it, haha.

Toya Sun Palace Resort & Spa, an established hot spring hotel with a grand name, is located in the prime area of Lake Toya. This historic hotel is large in scale, featuring a swimming pool and a water park, making it a family-friendly vacation center. As soon as you step into the lobby, you will be stunned by the nearly 180-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. The lake view is absolutely stunning! Taking 100 beautiful photos is not an exaggeration. The view is so breathtaking that you could sit and relax for an entire day. The lobby's interior design does not resemble the traditional style of old hot spring resorts. After checking some information, it turns out that the first-floor lobby has been recently renovated, which explains the significant difference from the exterior. The room decor has not been updated. The double rooms are available in both Western and Japanese styles, featuring a slightly old-fashioned classical design. The rooms are spacious, measuring 28 square meters, and the healing lake view is the highlight. The price for a double room, including breakfast and dinner, is NT$5500, which is quite reasonable. The lakeside garden landscaping is very picturesque, with several apple trees planted in the garden. Toya Sun Palace has truly taken advantage of its prime location and the beautiful lake view. Although the service quality is average, staying for a night to enjoy the scenery is still worth it. #HokkaidoTravel #LakeToya

#2024mapped The Lake Suite Ko No Sumika ザ・レイクスイート湖の栖 We traveled to Lake Toya during our trip to Sapporo. We chose this inn because we heard that the view was wonderful. The view from the private hot spring in our room was really amazing and the atmosphere was so nice that we spent a lot of time in the room instead of going out much. The plan included breakfast and dinner, and I was really happy to enjoy Hokkaido seafood! I would recommend this hotel to those who want to spend a relaxing time with their loved ones or on their anniversary, as it is a calm and relaxing place to live. 🏖️BAmbiance/Facilities: The Lake Suite Ko No Sumika ザ・レイクスイート湖の栖 📍Address: 7-1 Toyakoonsen, Sobetsu, Usu District, Hokkaido 049-5731 💞Reasons to Recommend: Great view, private hot spring ⋆ ･⋆ ･⋆ ･⋆ ⁡ #trip #travel #traveling #国内旅行 #北海道旅行 #洞爺湖温泉
