The capital city of Hobart has a small population. The entire city center is centered around the waterfront wharf area, which is the main tourist destination. There are restaurants serving delicious and authentic seafood, small stalls, and tour boats. The city center is not large and most attractions can be reached on foot, including Liverpool Street shopping district, St David Cathedral, Salamamca Place, Tasmania Museum n Art Gallery, etc. There are different murals and sculptures throughout the city, thanks to the University of Tasmania encouraging students to create designs. Diversified art is distributed in different places in the city. Some designs are very unique, making the eyes travel with every step.

Strahan Village is located on the far west coast of tasmania island, roughly about a 4 hour drive from the main town of hobart. Strahan Village is an old town that has many rustic costages and little home where its beautifully bulit up that looks like the olden times of wild wild west. Tourists do come here for the river cruises of Gordon River and the popular Macquarie Harblur Historic Site where this is a historic site and remains of the 19th century leftover settlements. Stops at Franklin River Nature Trail and Nelson Falls. In order for minimal impact along the national park banks ) Awesome view of the rainforest at heritage landing and Sarah island. We had a really great tour of Sarah Island. Our tour guide (Sarah!) was really knowledgeable and friendly and added nice humour within her presentation which is really engaging for everyone.
