“The Preferred Experience” Embarks on a New Journey
Global renowned independent hotel brand Preferred Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with InRadius, officially launches the new "The Preferred Experience." This five-day high-performance self-driving tour spans Germany and Austria, meticulously designed for travelers seeking a seamless blend of passion, style, and exploration. It is another luxury bespoke journey from Preferred Hotels & Resorts following their private jet global tour.
This immersive Alpine journey is limited to 20 guests. Participants will drive selected high-performance sports cars along Europe’s most iconic mountain routes while staying at carefully chosen Preferred member hotels. The experience will be available on four departure dates in July 2026 (July 5-9, 11-15, 17-21, and 23-27). The itinerary starts and ends in Munich, covering Europe’s most representative driving routes, including the Hahntennjoch Pass, Gerlos Pass, and classic scenic roads in Tyrol and Styria. Along the way, guests will stay at multiple Preferred member hotels, including Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany; Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol in Telfs-Buchen, Austria; IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn in Aigen im Ennstal, Austria; and Das Achental in Grassau, Germany. The entire journey is thoughtfully designed to include four days of high-performance sports car driving, professional route guidance, luxury accommodations, fine dining, exclusive automotive and cultural experiences, as well as transfer services and travel insurance to ensure a worry-free trip.
Highlights of the itinerary include:
1. Munich, Germany (Day 1)
Upon arrival in Munich, guests will enjoy exclusive airport transfers to the iconic Hotel Bayerischer Hof. The journey begins with spa relaxation, followed by a welcome dinner and driving briefing to set the tone for the days ahead.
2. Tyrol, Austria (Day 2)
After visiting the Munich Automobile World, guests will start their Alpine adventure driving high-performance sports cars. Along the way, they will admire the crystal-clear waters of Plansee Lake and the winding, spectacular Hahntennjoch Pass, then check in at Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol and enjoy a refined five-course dinner.
3. Styria and Salzburg, Austria (Day 3)
The route crosses Gerlos Pass, passes the Krimml Waterfalls, and ascends to a traditional mountain hut in Maria Alm to experience unique culinary culture. Afterwards, guests arrive at IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn, where they can enjoy resort facilities or experience a championship-level golf course.
4. Chiemgau, Germany (Day 4)
After traversing the diverse landscapes of Styria, guests reach Das Achental in Bavaria. The afternoon is reserved for leisure activities including spa, golf, and tennis, followed by a farewell dinner to reminisce about the journey’s highlights.
5. Munich, Germany (Day 5)
The final leg returns to Munich, where guests may choose to head to the airport or extend their stay at other Preferred Hotels & Resorts properties to continue their exploration.
