Tysons Corner travel guide and discussion

A little post journey treat 🥰 The perfect little spot to brighten the rainy day vibes 💕 #sunday #cafe #travellife We absolutely love the vibes of this spot! Surrounded by modern buildings, this spot is the perfect escape to another time. Brightly decorated with pops of color and beautiful florals and light music playing in the background its the perfect place to recharge. We ordered the Nutella croissant and the tower of cakes and macaroons which were both beautiful and delectable. The latte passed the test meeting Gabe’s standards and the mango passionfruit was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent; warm and welcoming. Definitely a highlight of our trip! ☀️

🇺🇸 Washington D.C., USA 🎄 DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons If you're traveling to Washington D.C. in December, I highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons for its amazing Christmas atmosphere. This hotel is just a 7-minute walk from the Tysons station on the Washington Metro Silver Line. The area is well-equipped with shopping malls, restaurants, and other amenities. Plus, the Silver Line Metro makes it convenient to reach the airport or downtown. One of the main reasons to stay at this hotel in December is the beautifully decorated Christmas trees in the lobby! There's a large white Christmas tree in the center of the lobby, perfect for taking memorable photos. The lobby's seating area is also decorated to resemble a cozy American home during the Christmas season, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the holiday spirit. As expected from a Hilton property, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. Despite the cold Washington weather, the heating system works perfectly, ensuring a warm and restful stay. Another reason I love DoubleTree hotels is the gluten-free cookies they provide at check-in—soft, chewy, and delightfully sweet. If you're looking for a hotel with a great Christmas atmosphere in Washington D.C., I highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons 🇺🇸🎄❤️
