Day 3 Check out the southernmost cliff in the United States. Many people challenge cliff diving here! We left Hilo after a leisurely breakfast and headed to Kilauea Volcano National Park around 11:00 AM. We paid $30 per car at the entrance. This ticket is valid for one week. Upon arrival, smoke was billowing, but we didn't see an eruption. As time passed, we noticed the molten lava turning red, which was incredibly impressive. Then, while we were moving towards Volcano House, the eruption began and grew rapidly! The eruption started about three hours after our arrival, and we enjoyed watching the volcano while having a meal at the Volcano House restaurant. It was a valuable experience! I visited Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. The weather was nice and comfortable on the road along the coast, but once I entered the mountains the weather changed and it started pouring. Luckily, even though I was soaking wet, I was able to see the eruption beyond the clouds! The weather in the mountains can change quickly, so don't forget your rain gear!
