Ticket prices (buy online at least 1 hour in advance for a better price than on-site)
1. Two-park combo ticket: 220 CNY (recommended, valid for 2 days)
Includes: main entrance ticket + sightseeing shuttle + Luojiasi cable car + L-shaped cave elevator, covers all free Yatianxia attractions, one ticket for Yatianxia + Grand Canyon
2. Grand Canyon single ticket: 108 CNY (water activities only, no cable car/elevator/high-altitude projects, suitable for families with children and seniors)
3. Yatianxia single ticket: 190 CNY (includes cable car + elevator + shuttle, excludes Grand Canyon)
4. Discounts:
· Free: children under 1.2m and seniors over 70 years old get free admission, but shuttle, cable car are not free
· Half price: children 1.2–1.4m, full-time students, seniors 60–69 with valid ID get half price

2. Transportation guide
1. Self-driving (highly recommended)
Navigation: Baoquan Tourism Resort P1 parking lot (closest to visitor center)
· From Zhengzhou: 1.5–2h; from Xinxiang city: 40 minutes
· Parking fee: 10 CNY/day, if P1 is full, park at P3 with free shuttle service
2. Public transportation
1. Buy direct shuttle bus from Zhengzhou/Xinxiang Yuzhouxing to the park, round trip about 68 CNY, fixed departure times
2. Xinxiang bus station → Huixian bus, then taxi/carpool to Baoquan, complicated overall, not recommended
Internal park transportation
· Sightseeing bus: free, splits to cable car station/Grand Canyon entrance
· Luojiasi cable car: main way up the mountain, world’s largest reversible gondola, 200 people per trip
· L-shaped cave elevator: goes directly from Yatianxia to the canyon bottom, convenient for those who want to avoid hiking
3. Two main routes (copy directly)
Route A: Yatianxia first → then Grand Canyon (young people/photo lovers/moderate fitness, highly recommended)
All downhill, less effort, avoid crowds in the morning for high-altitude activities, relax with water activities in the afternoon
Visitor center → sightseeing bus → Luojiasi cable car up the mountain
1. Yatianxia (3h): Danxia cliff road hanging plank walkway → cliff roller coaster, cliff swing, giant pendulum (free) → Xiangyun glass viewing platform (National Geographic photo spot) → Heart of Taihang → L-shaped cave elevator down
2. Grand Canyon (3h): Emerald Sea → Dragon Bay → Fish Scale Dam wading → Jianlong waterfall (largest waterfall in Central China) → Thousand Waterfalls Valley → sightseeing bus return
Route B: Grand Canyon first → then Yatianxia (family/seniors/water activities only)
Cool off and wade at the canyon bottom first, then more uphill hiking in the second half, more tiring
Visitor center → sightseeing bus to Grand Canyon entrance → Fish Scale Dam, Emerald Sea, Jianlong waterfall → cave elevator up to Yatianxia → cable car down to return

Suspended plank walkway built along red rock cliffs, one side cliff canyon, great atmosphere for walking, wear sunglasses and light-colored clothes for photos
3. Cliff roller coaster
Roller coaster on cliff edge, plunges straight into the canyon, full weightlessness and screams, long lines in peak season, go early
4. Cliff swing and giant pendulum
Free high-altitude experiences, swing up to 6 stories high, great for stress relief, suitable for ages 8 and up
5. Heart of Taihang
Natural heart-shaped pond, looks like a green gem from above, popular couple photo spot
6. Luojiasi cable car
Must take up the mountain, aerial view of the entire Taihang Canyon, excellent sightlines
Paid advanced activities (for the brave)
· Cliff bungee jumping: 366m drop, must book on official website 3 days in advance, at least 1 week ahead on holidays
· Via ferrata climbing: iron path on cliff, 168 CNY, very photogenic
· Cliff walking: narrow suspended walkway, 40 CNY, reservation required
5. Grand Canyon highlights (on the way down)
1. Jianlong waterfall: largest drop waterfall in Central China, rainbow likely on sunny mornings
2. Dragon Bay/Emerald Sea: jelly-colored clear water, red mountains and blue water, key scenic photo spots
3. Fish Scale Dam: shallow wading and photos, wear bright dresses for great shots, shallow and safe water
4. Thousand Waterfalls Valley: group of small waterfalls along the way, shady and cool, great for summer walks

Boutique guesthouses on the cliff top, open the window to the canyon, higher prices 400–800 CNY, good for deep vacations and sunrise photography
