Located within the campus of Jinyuan No. 2 Middle School in Guchengying Village, Jinyuan Street, Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, the Jinyuan Ashoka Pagoda (also known as Huiming Temple Reliquary Pagoda) is a landmark relic of the ancient city site of Jinyang. History and Development: Originally built in the 2nd year of Renshou in the Sui Dynasty (602 AD), it served as the reliquary pagoda affiliated with Huiming Temple inside Jinyang City during the Sui period. In the 4th year of Taiping Xingguo in the Song Dynasty (979 AD), Jinyang City was destroyed by war, and the pagoda was also ruined. It was rebuilt and abandoned multiple times afterward. The existing pagoda body was reconstructed in the 18th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1385 AD), changing from the original nine-story brick pagoda to a single-story Lama-style brick pagoda. It was repaired during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty and the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty. After the Republic of China period, Huiming Temple was completely destroyed, leaving only the pagoda intact. The pagoda stands about 25 meters tall and covers an area of 196 square meters. It is a solid brick-built stupa-style Lama pagoda, consisting of an underground palace, a square stone base (14 meters per side), a stepped square pyramid pedestal (1.65 meters high), a white circular stupa body, 13 layers of rings (with hanging iron bells), glazed eaves, and a pointed top finial. Its design is simple and solemn, featuring the typical style of Ming Dynasty Tibetan Buddhist pagodas. It is one of the legendary 84,000 reliquary pagodas built by Ashoka (with about 19–21 surviving in China) and is known along with the pagodas in Daixian, Hongtong, Yongji, and Yushe as the "Five True Buddha Relics Pagodas of Shanxi." It is also one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Taiyuan County" during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, known as "Ancient Pagoda Soaring to the Sky." The pagoda is well-preserved, with no temple remaining, and is located within a school campus. It is not regularly open for public visits but can be viewed from outside. The protection area extends 10 meters beyond the pagoda base, with construction control zones 70 meters to the east and 50 meters to the south and north. This pagoda witnesses the rise and fall of the ancient city of Jinyang and the sinicization process of Buddhism. It is one of the earliest and most complete Lama pagodas preserved in Shanxi. On March 5, 2013, it was announced by the State Council as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units (No. 7-0884-3-182).

Family! This time I randomly picked Delaiya Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of budget hotels! With a budget of just 100+, I stayed in such a comfortable place, the cost performance is off the charts. Whether you're a cleanliness fanatic or afraid of bad experiences, you can book with confidence~ First, let me rave about the cleanliness! As someone a bit obsessed with cleanliness, my first reaction upon entering the room was to "inspect" everywhere: the bedding was perfectly smooth without a single wrinkle, feeling dry and sun-kissed to the touch, with no strange odors or hair at all. Lying down gave me an overwhelming sense of safety😭 The bedside table, desk, and other dust-prone corners were spotless when I wiped them by hand! The bathroom was even more surprising, with a very practical dry-wet separation design, the floor was dry and non-slip, the toilet and washbasin were polished to a shine, even the tile gaps were clean without any limescale or stains. Disposable items were neatly arranged, and the bath and hand towels had a faint disinfectant fragrance—detail lovers will really appreciate this~ Now about the cozy feeling, it didn’t feel like staying in a hotel at all, more like staying at a friend’s place! The room’s color scheme was a gentle warm tone, the lighting was warm yellow, which wasn’t harsh at all at night, creating a great atmosphere~ There was even a small aroma diffuser on the bedside table, the subtle fragrance was so soothing, instantly relaxing me after a tiring day! What touched me the most was the service—the front desk lady was super friendly, check-in was very fast, and she proactively told me about nearby food streets and supermarkets. When I casually mentioned wanting a few more bottles of water, they were immediately brought to me. When I needed to borrow a charger, the response was quick and attentive throughout, with no hint of indifference. So thoughtful~ Finally, I have to talk about the value for money! For just over 100, the facilities were amazing: the room was very spacious, I could open two suitcases without feeling cramped, and clothes could be quickly ironed flat; the bathroom had instant hot water with strong pressure, and the toiletries were great—shampoo foamed quickly and left my hair feeling fresh and not flat, so no need to bring your own; breakfast was included in the morning, with porridge, buns, eggs, and milk. The variety wasn’t luxurious but enough to satisfy, so it was super convenient to leave full and energized~ Compared to other hotels in the same area, getting such a clean and cozy room at this price is a total steal! Whether for business or travel, comfort is the most important thing~ Delaiya Hotel fully met all my expectations for a budget hotel: clean and odor-free, cozy but not overdone, and excellent value for money. It’s now on my regular list! I’ll stay here next time too, and I highly recommend it to all experience-focused friends—book with confidence, no risk of disappointment💖

The temple also preserves two Qing Dynasty restoration steles and 74 square meters of murals. The lower half of the base is buried underground, measuring 0.66 meters in height and 0.54 meters in width, with peony flower carvings decorating the waist section. The pagoda body is an octagonal five-story brick structure, each level with eaves that extend outward. The bottom level has a flat seat supported by brick-carved dougong brackets, horizontal beams, and flying rafters imitating wood construction, with a five-step heavy upward-curving dougong design. Chongsheng Temple was originally named Chongyan Temple and also known as Chanshan Temple. It was first built during the Tang Dynasty. During the Song Dynasty's Jiayou period (1056-1063), it was renamed Chongsheng Temple. It was later destroyed by war but rebuilt during the Jin Dynasty from the 15th to 16th year of Dading (1173-1186). It underwent multiple repairs in the 9th year of the Yuan Dynasty's Zhizheng era, during the Qing Dynasty under Kangxi, Qianlong, and the 14th year of Jiaqing (1809), as well as in the 10th year of the Republic of China (1929). It was renovated again in 1988. Covering an area of about 2,100 square meters, the temple faces south and consists of two courtyards arranged along a central axis with the Shanmen Gate, Bodhisattva Hall, and Mahavira Hall. On both sides are the abbot's quarters, Dharma Hall, east and west side gates, east stele corridor, east and west Dharma Protector Halls, east and west Arhat Halls, and the west meditation room. The only surviving Yuan Dynasty structure is the Mahavira Hall; the rest are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The temple also preserves six steles commemorating its renovations. Inside the temple are stone pagodas for Master Qingjing Guanghui and Master Pu'en Shougong. It is a nationally protected key cultural relic site.

Xiachiyu Village is characterized by its well-preserved traditional architectural style and spatial layout; the village currently has building complexes from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including three ancient towers in the east, center, and west, as well as religious buildings such as Zifu Temple. In addition, the village preserves a traditional farming tools exhibition room and intangible cultural heritage inheritors, reflecting a profound historical and cultural heritage. It is listed as one of the fourth batch of China's traditional villages.

Zifu Temple is built on a steep site and is very magnificent. The entire structure is a siheyuan-style courtyard, with a main hall of three bays, a single-eave hip roof, and a depth of three bays. It was built in the 10th year of the Zhizheng era of the Yuan Dynasty and is a typical wooden structure from that period. The main wall features Shui and Lu paintings with smooth, vigorous lines and elegant coloring, holding considerable artistic value. Below it is the White Dragon Temple with three bays (facing south). To the south is the Bodhisattva Hall with three bays, flanked by bell and drum towers and the mountain gate, all built during the Ming Dynasty. Hey everyone! Last week, I went on a scouting trip to Jinzhong and was left speechless by this thousand-year-old temple in Yushe! Hidden deep within the mountains, morning mist swirls around its upturned eaves, and sunlight filters through ancient cypresses onto the stone steps. For a moment, I thought I had stumbled into a cultivation sect from "Chinese Paladin"! This off-the-beaten-path trip was absolutely worth it 🥳 🌟 Qingliang Temple Must-See Features: The Dual Romance of Ancient Temple + Mountain Scenery 1. **Thousand-Year-Old Architecture:** The temple houses stone tablets from the Sui Dynasty, Buddhist statues from the Tang Dynasty, and wooden pavilions from the Ming and Qing Dynasties! Especially the carved window lattices in the Mahavira Hall – when sunlight shines through, it casts "shattered golden light" on the ground. Standing by the window for a profile shot creates an incredibly atmospheric vibe~ 2. **Summit Cloud Sea View:** The temple is built on a mountain peak at an altitude of 1200 meters. Between 6-8 AM, there's a high probability of encountering a sea of clouds! The mist rolls up from the valley, half-obscuring the ancient temple. Just holding up your phone, you can capture "fairyland blockbusters" without needing any filters! 3. **Ancient Cypress Secret Realm:** Outside the temple, there's a forest of 300-year-old ancient cypresses. Their twisted trunks tell stories. Wear Hanfu or a plain long dress and twirl under the trees, letting a friend capture the moment your skirt billows – instantly transform into a classical heroine 📸 4. **Mountain Trail:** From the foot of the mountain to the temple, there's a 2-kilometer wooden boardwalk. Along the way, you can see wildflowers and mountain springs. When you're tired, sit at a viewing platform to rest, enjoying the mountain breeze and birdsong – it's all about that "healing feeling of escaping the city"~ 📍 One-Day Itinerary (Lazy Version) · **08:00-09:30:** Depart for Qingliang Temple (Self-driving is recommended. Navigate to "Yushe Qingliang Temple." It's about 1.5 hours from the city center. The mountain road is smooth and easy to drive, and parking is free.) · **09:30-12:00:** Explore the ancient temple, photograph the sea of clouds (First, go to the Mahavira Hall to capture architectural details, then head to the summit viewing platform to wait for the sea of clouds. The light is softest around 10 AM.) · **12:00-13:30:** Have lunch at a farmhouse restaurant at the foot of the mountain (Recommended dishes: Yushe Fried 'Bu Lan', Potato 'Caca', paired with a bowl of wild vegetable tofu soup. Around 30+ RMB per person, super affordable!) · **13:30-16:00:** Photo session in the ancient cypress forest + walk the wooden boardwalk (The afternoon light is great for backlighting. Have a friend stand next to an ancient cypress, and you shoot with backlighting on your phone – the person will have a "glowing outline.") · **After 16:00:** Return or visit nearby attractions (If you have ample time, you can stay overnight and experience the tranquility of the mountain night.) 🚗 Transportation & 🏨 Accommodation & 🍜 Dining Guide · **Transportation:** Self-driving is the top choice (flexible and convenient, allowing stops at roadside viewing platforms). For those without a car, you can take a long-distance bus from Jinzhong city center to Yushe County, then take a taxi to the scenic area (about 30 minutes from the county town to the scenic area, taxi fare around 50 RMB). · **Accommodation Recommendations:** 1. **Yushe Hotel:** (County center, well-equipped facilities, walking distance to the snack street, around 150 RMB/night per person, suitable for those seeking convenience). 2. **Yunzhu Lake Resort Hotel:** (About 20 minutes drive from the scenic area, offers lake views, courtyard room types available, around 300 RMB/night per person, suitable for those wanting a relaxing vacation). 3. **Qingliang Temple Mountain Village Homestay:** (Right at the foot of the scenic area mountain, the owner cooks farmhouse dishes, you can wake up to the sound of chickens in the morning, around 120 RMB/night per person, suitable for those who like a rustic experience). * **Dining Recommendations:** Besides the farmhouse restaurants at the foot of the mountain, you absolutely must try "Yushe Old Taste Restaurant" in the county town! Recommended dishes: Braised Pork with Plum Sauce, Fried 'E', Fried Cake – all local specialties, you can eat your fill for just 40 RMB per person~ 📸 5 Great Photo Spots + Photography Tips 1. **Mahavira Hall Eaves:** Stand on the stone steps outside the hall, shoot upwards with your phone, letting the eaves and sky fill the frame. Wearing dark clothes makes for better photos (Tip: Lightly stand on your tiptoes when shooting for a more upright posture). 2. **Under the Ancient Cypress:** Choose an ancient cypress with sprawling branches. Stand next to the tree at a 45-degree angle, looking up, letting the sunlight fall on your face. Have your friend squat low to shoot – you can capture the feeling of "human and ancient tree coexisting." 3. **Summit Cloud Sea Viewing Platform:** Wear a light-colored long dress, spread your arms, and face the camera sideways, with the sea of clouds as the background. Turn on your phone's "Portrait Mode" to blur the background for a more ethereal look (Tip: When it's windy, let your skirt billow and capture dynamic shots). 4. **Temple Red Wall:** Use the red wall as a background. Stand to the side, gently resting your hand on the wall, and take a half-body shot. When I arrived at Qingliang Temple, 15 kilometers south of Pingyao City Wow! Oh my God! Four Heavenly Kings, window paper-cuts, Sumeru throne, main hall... 🚉Transportation strategy: Pingyao No. 21 bus 3 yuan 50 minutes to Yongcheng Station, walkable Bus No. 21 has stops at Pingyao Station and near the west gate of the ancient city 📝Precautions: 1. There is a big dog at the entrance, which is extremely manic, so stay away from it 2. The national security personnel live in the temple, very enthusiastic, but basically do not open the main hall. I was fortunate to see the three Buddhas and four Bodhisattvas inside. What surprised me most was that the seats of the four Bodhisattvas were completely different from those in traditional temples. The old man smiled and asked me if I had never seen such a big Buddha. I smiled and said Amitabha, there is a sky outside the sky, and there is a Buddha outside the Buddha In his heart, this is the biggest Buddha 3. The Sumeru throne in the temple looks very much like the unrenovated version of Guangsheng Temple, and the window paper-cuts reminded me of Chongfu Temple in Shuozhou 4. Don't regret not being able to see the temple, the four Vajra outside are also very shocking. In addition, you can go up to the second floor from the stairs opposite the dog, and the overlooking view is even more shocking

| is located in the southwest of Yushe County, 22 kilometers away from the county seat, the lake city of the city of Yunyun Town and Hefei Township, the Yunzhu Lake system, the South Canal water system, the turbidity River tributary. Beautiful environment and pleasant scenery. In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, Yunzhu Lake Scenic Area also has its own art workshop. It has a huge art system and often invites domestic and foreign artists to work in the village to create a new artistic settlement, emphasizing the interactive functions of various art categories; attracting art creation enthusiasts from different fields to paint, sculpture, drama, architecture, film, literature Waiting for exchange creation. Talk to the French wrought iron sculptor in the Yunzhu Lake Art Workshop, read their work, and listen to their interpretation of their work and the concept of art. Because life is in an era of excessive waste, in order to make those "old" things have meaning of existence, their works are recycled twice. The "Zebra's Meaning" that they are currently working on will be displayed in the Yunzhu Lake Scenic Area, which is very shocking. In the Yunzhu Lake Art Workshop, artists from all over the world are invited to create works every once in a while. If there is time in the winter vacation, I really want to learn the production of glassware. The art workshop was built from the old factory and is now being created by French wrought iron sculptors. It is very large and has many sculptures. After entering, there is a feeling of entering the steel forest, which is very wonderful. Address: Yunzhu Town, Yushe County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province Special Tips

Chongsheng Temple, east to the Bohai Sea, west to Cangshan, about one kilometer north of the ancient city of Dali in Yunnan Province, point to Cangshan Mountain, the coast of the Bohai Sea. In history, nine Dali emperors became monks at Chongsheng Temple, and they were called "Tianlong Temple" in Jin Yong's martial arts novel "Tianlong Ba Bu". After two days of blue sky and white clouds, today, the Chongsheng Temple has become clouded, deeper and solemn, but it is not too oppressive. After entering, you will have a calm sense of calm and do not want to bother it. The quiet, I really want to go inside and see more. Chongsheng Temple is near the ancient city of Dali. It is recommended to take a taxi or car to arrange a half-day tour to let yourself slowly integrate into the Zen environment.
