The vast and magnificent Tengger Desert

The Tengger Desert is located in the southwestern part of Alxa Left Banner in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the central border of Gansu Province. It stretches beyond the Great Wall to the south, reaches Helan Mountain to the east, and extends to the Yabulai Mountains to the west, making it the fourth largest desert in China. The blue sky, white clouds, and yellow sand create a naturally beautiful color palette! In the midst of the desert, the grandeur and vastness of the land are even more apparent. The yellow desert merges with the blue sky, endless and boundless. The sand dunes, soft and fine, offer a unique sensation to the eyes! In the barren desert, as far as the eye can see, there is only sand. But occasionally, a plant or a withered tree appears, bringing a different landscape to the vast desert! The undulating sand dunes of the desert appear especially smooth, and their sleek surface makes one reluctant to step on them, wishing to preserve this moment of beauty. The sky is dotted with clouds that look like cotton candy. Standing in the desert, these clouds seem within reach, yet they also appear to be slowly pressing down! The Tengger Desert contains as many as 422 lakes and basins, most of which are grass lakes without visible water. The lake basins in the Tengger Desert have abundant light and heat, better water conditions, and rich groundwater, with a depth of 1-2 meters, forming oases in the desert. The stunning secret of the Tengger Desert: Lake Ulan, shaped like a 'heart', seems to be throbbing on the surface of the earth. A fiery red is the deepest impression one gets when first seeing Lake Ulan, making one marvel at the incredible magic of nature! 'The solitary smoke in the vast desert rises straight, and the long river sets with a round sun,' the sunset in the desert is breathtakingly beautiful, reminding one of this verse by the poet Wang Wei, and such a scene truly inspires endless admiration!
