#ancientcities A Fantastic architectural wonder set high on a hill on the outskirts of Athens, the terrain is difficult & weather very hot so make sure to wear sturdy footwear & take a hat, plus water is essential as its easy to dehydrate in the summer months, it's best to pre-book tickets to avoid the possibility of huge queues 👍A must see when visiting Athens. They now used timed entry tickets, and won't let you in outside your timing. If you want the easier walk, go in from the North entrance and exit from the South. This reduces the climb once you enter and climbing pace may matter. That said, it appears to also be the busier entrance.
