Bangkok 10330 Getting There - reached by car, taxi, tuk tuk, and the BTS Sky Train (National Stadium station exit no.1) Admission price - THB200 (adult), free for kids below 10. Opening hours - Daily from 10am to 6pm. Guided tours are provided in English, French, Japanese, Chinese and Thai with the last session at 5pm. We were lucky that our hotel is located just 1 lane away from the building so it is just a 10mins walk. Visits are all by guided tours at THB200 per adult. We were brought round the building/house and we all have to remove our footwear. Love the architecture. Really very rustic and will very heavy culture atmosphere. We got to know more about the history of Mr Jim Thompson. There’s a alfresco cafe towards the end of the tour and also a big souvenir shop at the ground floor. As tourist, we can get VAT exemption/arrangement at the shop. Highly recommended to do a visit.
